Hey Salty, I'm always all smiles after watching one of your vids. That young lady is growing up so fast. Her face said it all when she did the taste test. Will be cruising the island area tomorrow in my boat. I am also going to try that Vinaigrette dressing , it looks great. Take care and tight lines to you.
    Cheers

Hi Salty. Yeah, that's a Rudderfish. But I don't find them too tasty when cooked - they over cook too quick. They are better raw or cured in lemon juice.

I hope you got the pin bones out of that rudderfish. I go the full length and cut out the blood line too, making 4 pieces out of each rudderfish.

Absolutely after doing research on them. That’s what I found too but they are fantastic sashimi I might even like them better than tuna! They would probably be pretty good, sesame, seared too!

I see you have a 615 area code on your boat. What is your connection with Tennessee?

I went to nursing school in Nashville and lived there for about 10 years, but I’m originally from Fort Lauderdale and moved back here to the West Coast
