We are at loss as many of the pearls, who once decorated our community, have already departed. They have left a vacuum. I do not doubt the existing manpower and leadership driving our society- back home. But, those people were ahead of their time. Their unwavering stance on community development and their unmatched contribution to the region's progress both tangible and intangible are unmatched. I wonder if we are ready to take their legacy forward? Can we take it forward though? I know there will be progress according to the needs of the time. And perhaps every generation feels they are at loss by losing their elders and leaders. But there is something unique with our generation losing their elders. Perhaps they delivered exceptionally when it was their turn. Then the question is, can we deliver exceptionally for our time?
