@@joeldowell5059 not exactly. It’s still up to independent states if they will title and plate the vehicle after 25 years. Just look at the Honda and Toyota mini trucks people have but can’t get plates for.

Very hot or miss for registration state by state but 25+ are technically not federally banned. It is EXTREMELY rare to find this class of truck in the states. There are a few; I've seen a Mazda Titan and a Isuzu Elf, which are comparable, as are the smallest of Fuso Canter and Canter Guts (low capacity gas like the Dyna in this video.)
Its because in those cabovers, your legs are the crumple zone.

Omg! Please ship this to BC, Canada to convert it to a 4wd with 2 electric axles from Edison Motors! That would be the sickiest conversion ever!!!
Tires made in 2016 are over 7 years old and past their stable safe life no matter how much tread is left. Assume you'll need new tires and depending on where you import into and go through inspection, some will fail you on tires over 6 years of age.
I usually say that 10 years is the limit. There's some debate and I have heard 6 years as well. I have had some tires blow out on us or have separated belts but they were all 25+ years old.
6 years is fine. After that point watch for cracking tho.

That's a very tempting proposition! Such an awesome vehicle! And when did that moustache happen? Will that come alongside the truck as well? 😆
It may also be good to mention the weight and dimensions in the description. For instance here in the Netherlands, it could be classified as a light commercial vehicle if it is within certain dimensions and weight. I'm not worried about the dimensions, but the weight could be an issue. The limit is 3500 kilograms and above that the driver needs a truck driving license.

I'm no expert so take this with a grain of salt. My understanding is they can't be titled here in the US if they're shipped prior to the 25 year mark.

I wanted one of these, i was looking a few years ago and the dual cabs were reasonably priced. I looked recently and holy heck they are just outrageous in price now. Absolutely not worth the import IMO at the moment

Yes, you can generally get Dynas in 4WD. Derek talks about this at around 21:40. This one for sale however is 2WD. /Max
