I am super excited to be sharing this DIY tutorial with you guys - a macrame mandala mirror with beads
This is a step-by-step tutorial going over the mandala pattern first, and then we will attach a mirror to the back of the pattern. The mandala pattern itself is simple. All you would need to know is how to tie 1 easy knot. Once you have mastered one mandala petal, all you have to do is repeat the petal 10 more times around the ring.

Ah yes! I am not a fan of using glue for macrame projects so I try to find a way to not glue things and instead, tie a few knots :) Let me know how yours makes out once you're done! Thank you for watching.

I started to do your pattern but I seriously don't think this is very beginner because of the switching of the cords and it was hard to figure which cords you were using in what area. I do love the pattern though.

I tried this with 4 mm cord and I cut the pieces around 24in just to be on the safe side

I know how to do macrame but i had a hard time with this one because you were going fast at some steps that it was difficult to me to figure out which cord you had pulled , i had to play the video on slow motion several times.. but finally (i made it ).
You can slow down the video with the settings toggle at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen and change the playback speed. I'm so glad you figured it out though! :)

Is glass mirror better than acrylic mirror? I guess you have used glass
I made the same pattern and it was fun making it ,but the petals keep falling once on the wall though they are stiff
Are your knots tight towards the ring? Is the whole petal falling or just the fringe?
Did you use a acrylic mirror or a normal glass one?
Any tips on how to keep the fringes in place? After hanging they lose their shape ...

I've shared a quick tutorial on my instagram reels. You can check it out here: instagram.com/reel/COQ_sdRDK0-/. Try cutting the fringe shorter and comb through the fringe before spraying hair spray / fabric stiffener to hold the fringe in place.

Entendiste cuanto tiene que medir el hilo? Creo que está en pulgadas...
@@andreadosmilsiempre7902 el círculo de metal es de 20cm al igual que el espejo (aunque dice que el anillo de metal es un poquito más pequeño que el espejo) y los hilos son: 55 de 75cm y 1de 160cm

@@Bochiknot Got everything now and excited to make this project. Also wanted to share something I found in a very old magazine. McCall's Needle & Crafts Fall-Winter 1964-65. There are some beautiful macrame pillows made by Imelda Pesch. Did a little research and found she had a few macrame books published.

Just with a nail! Then hang it up from the cords at the back or through one of the holes from the pattern

Its a beautiful pattern, However some twirls and twists are really hard to follow. especially switching the cord from 6:42 min onwards. Most of the time your fingers are covering the switching pattern and unable to see clearly. Please take a better video, or be more detailed on while switching the cords, left over right or right over left pattern so that it becomes easier to follow
Sorry. Still way too fast for me and many steps over looked.
You can pause and slow down the video speed, just change the settings. Hope that helps :-)
