Harajuku is one of the busiest places in Japan with its young hipster like feel. There are many fashion and food shops to cater to younger people with many of the world's top brands having stores here. As well as finding some of the newest brands and fashion here, you'll also see some of the weirdest stuff you'll ever find. Lots of people walk around in some sort of cosplay or character's costumns which makes this place a must see for anyone traveling to Tokyo.

I know the feeling. It is an amazing place to visit which gives you lots of great memories that keep with you and make you want to come back for more. Hope you get the chance sometime soon to get back.
My tip: walk round 8am when no one there and can take pics of signage, in front of painted shudder doors to stores not yet open, hit starbux omotesando (4th/6th fl?) outdoor patio q views, much avail seating, opens 7am), meji shrine, all walking distance. Then go back to Takeshita Dori for 'atmosphere'/crowds, chips, bubble tea, Daiso haul...AND backstreets for quiet lunch (no crowds)

I love Harajuku. I think I go there more than anywhere else in Tokyo! It's great to see street fashion and the high end fashion all in the same area!

I need to go to Japan! 😁 I’ve only been to Japan town in Los Angeles and in San Francisco! Lol... Still fun though! My mother lives in a suburb of Los Angeles, CA, Gardena, CA.. it’s mostly a Japanese influenced city, with Japanese restaurants and shops and of course the regular American businesses. Most of my friends I grew up with are Japanese-American, still friends with a lot of my former classmates...But I would loved to tour Tokyo and their country side, also! 😁💖

Great video, it's really high quality! Did you do any stabilization during shooting or in post processing? It looks like you're not using a gimbal or anything, but for walking around it looks stable enough. Tempted to get one of these myself to travel with.
+David Calhoun Thanks. Yes I used a stabilizer for this video with the gopro camera. I often use the Feiyu Tech stabilizer which can only be used with the gopro.

Raya Gancheva These 4k videos are made using the GoPro Hero 4 Black Edition. I am not sure if it is the best camera out there but it does a good enough job for me.

They know the words and their meaning. It's just not taboo in Japanese culture. Westerners swear all the time on Japanese television without censorship for that reason. It doesn't bother them.

+Tuong Phi Thang They walk on both sides of the road but I would say they try to walk on the left side of the footpath unless it is a crowded place like this then they will walk all over the place.

I could be wrong, but I believe it has to do with Japan's right wing party. They like to drive around in these small trucks with multiple megaphones to spread their ideals.
