The best moment for me was watching your mom putting away her cans in her new pantry…she was so happy in that moment. Enjoy your rest and time with your families before you set out again. If you find yourself in Calgary don’t hesitate to come by for a shower, vegan meal, a night or two in a bed that is not in a van! PS. The cuts were epic and the grouting grand! Safe travels
I am in tears. I had the opportunity to do a few things like this for my own parents. They have both passed away many years ago but memories of this sort of experience are ones I recall fondly now. Wow! Just WOW! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed your kitchen journey. We knew you could do it but we were sweating right along with you. The most enjoyable part is realizing that Keely's sister is so much like her and you are both carbon copies of your mother. And the endless, fiddly finalization of detaiis can drive anyone nuts. This turned out to be absolutely beautiful (and functional). Best of all, Philly and Keely still seem to still be friends!
