Hearing your read about Joseph of Arimathea brought tears to my eyes. Especially the words about “God. What do we do now?” Feeling “God-forsaken”. Having put all Your Hope in Jesus and see Him dead before your very eyes. The honesty you write with melts my heart ♥️♥️♥️

Thinking of all this and listening to scripture and the culture of the Jews. They were extremely careful in writing scripture if they made a slight mistake, instead of erasing it they would start over from the beginning. Thinking of this I'm absolutely sure they were more careful with the body of Christ than to drop Him and clumsily rip up His face and body even more. There also was documented verification that some solders were converted one confessing Jesus as the Son of God as our Savior died, I'm sure they offered their services. If death was the price paid for clumsily dropping the ark of the covenant, what do you think would happen if they handled the body of the Son of God?. I love you Beth and I k ow your story was just a story, but when it comes to Christ we should be more careful even in filling in tbe blanks. Some things should not be said and guessed about the Word. The Father was watching them care for His Son's body and they knew it. It seems the would be more reverent and careful
