  • Anthony J. Casalnova, III, age 70 of Oaklyn, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Virtua-Lourdes Hospital in Camden.
Anthony was born in Philadelphia and spent all of his days in Oaklyn. He will be remembered for his love of summer vacations in Ocean City Maryland, fondly referred to as OCMD. He cherished these moments spent by the ocean and created lasting memories there.
Anthony worked in maintenance over the years. His hobbies and interests reflected his joyful spirit - he adored going to dinner at diners and to movies with his longtime companion of 46 years, Judy Rowand. Anthony was a dedicated fan of Philadelphia sports teams and a lifelong enthusiast of professional wrestling. Music was a source of joy for him; some of his favorites included Elvis and The Eagles. He treasured animals but above all, cherished the time spent with his family when they gathered together.
Anthony is survived by his dedicated companion, Judy Rowand, his brothers; Stephen (Tina), Vincent (Terry) and John (Theresa) Casalnova, as well as his 25 nieces and nephews. He had a special bond with each of them that will live on in their hearts forever. Anthony was predeceased by his parents Anthony & his wife Josephine (nee Ferraro) Casalnova, Jr. as well as his nephew, Vincent, Jr., and niece, Stacey.
Relatives, friends, and neighbors are invited to gather with the Casalnova family on Friday morning between 10:00 am and 11:00 am at Creran Celebration Etherington & Creran Funeral Homes 400 White Horse Pike, Oaklyn where a remembrance ceremony will be celebrated at 11:00 am. A graveside tribute will immediately follow at New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
In loving memory of Anthony - a man whose presence brought warmth and happiness to all who knew him. May he rest in peace knowing he was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of sharing in his life.
