Hi all. This time I want to use a new ax to create a 3D drawing on metal in the style of the Warhammer 40,000 universe, namely Juggernaut. Thanks to patience and perseverance, using simple technology, while sitting at home, I created a three-dimensional drawing on metal. The complex pattern on the steel adds exclusivity to the ax. For me this is an incredible result, which I am very pleased with. How do you like my work?
As the basis of the new ax, I used a new ax purchased from an online store. The ax turned out to be reliable, but I didn’t like its shape. What I've done? They cut off the unnecessary metal and gave the ax the shape I needed, with a slightly curved cutting edge. Cleaned and sanded. Once the blank was prepared, I decided to apply a Warhammer 40,000 Juggernaut style image to it. After multilayer electrochemical etching, I began to get the effect of a three-dimensional pattern on the metal. When the drawing was ready, I blackened the product with a special product for black steel. Hand grinding and polishing. I was pleased with the result of this work and I hope you liked it too.

You say 'easy way' but you don't give details of the process : the liquids, the paint, the tools, the voltage system etc. 🤔 Really nice result though. 👍

He already mentioned salt in the beginning. You need to work a little hard for the electrical voltage, the paint is not important either, use your mind a little.

Круто, очень круто! Казалось бы ни чего сложного но есть одна маааааленькая "мелочь" - мастеру нужно чëтко представлять конечный результат и видеть последоввтельность травления каждой детали ещё на стадии переноса рисунка на изделие. А так всё проще паренной репы. 😁😁😁

Иметь представление - это вообще не проблема, проблема - это быть настоящим художником прежде всего. А тупо травить - это действительно просто.

Эстетика... У меня обычно на подарок берут для родных и близких людей. Такой подарок приятно получить. А по мне так у камина или мангала поставить или повесить, почему нет... Дело такое, фантазия в помощь... 🤝
Вы ошибаетесь, если сделать травление а затем анодирование и воронение иди химическое хромирование да вариантов тьма, и хрен ему что будет, даже если сутками в воде воляться булет.
