Blake Stone was the first FPS game that I played with full sound effects and everything (I had just installed one of the very first Soundblaster audio cards). Long story short, I got blown away by the sound, music and graphics =) (I was about 8-9 years old at the time).
Yes, true that though. However, It took a couple of months before I got a chance to play the game in Sweden. So I played Blake Stone for quite sometime ;)
Ah yes. I remember this game... and its secrets within secrets within secrets. It really lays on the bonuses thick. Rule of thumb: If there's a gap in the map, assume there's a secret room there somewhere. And just spam that use key!
The nostalgia of listening to the sound of Slow Fire Protector. I love that Pistol. And I never actually beaten this on Veteran when I was a kid. Probably gonna start grinding this soon... :)
Wow! This brings back memories to when I played this game for the DOS version. I had a feeling you were nearly killed in some parts of the level, but you persevered unscathed.
+DAR1US Yep, the digitized sounds were avaiable on the very first sound blaster cards... and the other sounds are internal PC speaker beeps synthesized through a yamaha FM chip.
Tried to play this on keyboard on 3rd and 4th difficulty levels and the machine gun guys take ages to be killed and they kill me, so I came to find out how it's meant to be played. I see you use keyboard and mouse and attack and retreat before getting shot as I do in Duke Nukem. Welp, I guess there's not way to play this on the harder levels only on keyboard. :s And notice I cleared Blood on the Extra Crispy level on keyboard, and also Extra Crispy in pistol start with keyboard and mouse, but this game seems to be way harder than Blood. lol
3:35. "Hello im scientist man, just doing science thing. Don't mind me!"

+The Gaming Ground One week later, Doom came out and wiped this game from the face of earth :/

Thankfully, this game allowed you to keep the use key pressed and just glide along the wall
This game deserves a remake
Yeah, I should probably tell Hugo Martin about this.

Stack up on snacks, because the 66 levels do drag a bit.

It's super easy to get insta-killed in this one >_
@@pagb666 especially in a game where they decide on the first level it's fun to put five Star Troopers in a secret!
...when you are likely to have a pistol or a light machinegun. xD
This game made you think, in most FPS games you shoot anything that moves, but in this there's some characters you're not meant to shoot.
Omg,I remember playing this game. So many good memories.
There's also a close themed mod for wolfenstein "Mutant blobs from Uranus"
Did the bio-tech scientist just said "Talk to guards about that!" even he is not friendly at 2:04?
wow I never knew there was so much hidden stuff on the first level. I thought I was hot shit finding the hidden assault rifle!
The amount of secrets in this game, -while it is good to have so many secret levels and so on-, is ridiculous
Nice vedio
like this machinegun look on gui, btw are those 8bit audio sounds?

7:21 what I never understood is ho the hell just floor 1 out of 10 is worth 39 % of the MISSION RATING & no other floor is worth even close to that?
That's because you start off with a 33% mission rating, it can be diminished by killing informants.

Yep, this game doesn't fuck around
Is this a Wolfenstein 3D Mod?
Nope, a game using the same engine
You forgot to put "It uses Wolfenstein 3D ray casting engine created by ID software" in the description.
I remember getting my pants scared off of me by this game because of the ressurecting enemies. First FPS I ever got my hands on as a teeny tiny kid
Oh yeah, those commandos
