I just found out that I‘m the same age as Tony 😂. So happy for him that he could get rid of the issues with his voice- in my opinion he is a fantastic storyteller, a magician in music and words. I met the band on the 26th of March 2019 at the club Z7 in Pratteln, Switzerland at a Meet&Greet. These guys are all so kind and nice people!
Sonata Arctica was my start to metal when I was like 11. Im now 27. I hope hope hope to see these guys live one day! Im also super excited for their return to power metal. Cheers from Houston Tx

I love all the singles from the new album and am so excited to hear the album. Sonata and Tony introduced me to metal in 2003 when I heard Victoria’s Secret played on a highlight reel of Hockey Night in Finland. I was hooked ever since and started on my metal journey that is still ongoing.
This was nice chat with Tony and Pedro. Looking forward to hear the new album. Wish to see them live in the following summer.

This was a great interview btw. It was nice to hear Tony be excited about the new songs, it doesn’t seem that it was a chore for him to go back to the early sound.
I caught Sonata Arctica in Detroit at the I-Rock in 2005, and they were fantastic! I remember Tony pointing down at the ground while singing about taking the low road (from Blinded No More) and smiling the whole time. So fun! I bought Reckoning Night the next day, one of my favorite albums.
I'm so excited about this release! Sonata Arctica's been my favorite band since I was a teenager and it's awesome every time they release new music. I have been lucky to watch them live 3 times, once in Caracas, and two in Madrid! The band always delivers amazing shows! I agree that Sonata is so much more than power metal, which is what makes it fun after all of these years listening to the band. It never gets boring :)

I think people started to criticize their music since Unia.. the last one was not my cup of tea..
It was a great conversation.. their music started to play in my head and I just got nostalgic and feeling a huge need to listen to some power metal.
