We did wake up to 2 inches of snow today, each is extremely rare for Central Mississippi!!!. So we’re super psyched and will be blowing up the stand up paddle board about about an hour. If you are someone reading this has any suggestions what I could put on the bottom of the board to make it more slick in the snow please don’t hesitate to respond to the comment. Sharks cove is my favorite place on the planet. Was stationed at kaneohe. Would snorkel and go thru small underwater cave/ tunnels there. Made a friendship with a big 3 finned tortoise I named "trace", then one time I grabbed onto his shell and that butt hole started for the deep and I let go when I realized I was pretty far from everyone else. I miss that place. Live the dream brother and be safe
I love your tutorial videos. I'd be very interested if you could make more. Perhaps a series would be a good idea, spreading the content to beginner, intermediate, and advance surf techniques.
Depends on the wipe out. Sand bottom can literally slam you to the ground (hard sand bottom) an pin you where you can’t move so your literally one with the bottom. Or you can hit reef and bounce an get dragged across bottom an your left to Mother Nature how the end result is. Then there’s wiping out on dry reef or a boil (BFR) an the out come is usually bloody. You just don’t want to wipeout in front or between you , the lip of the wave and the flats. You usually get dragged to shore on the bottom. Coral Reef is really bad to wipe out on. Flat ledge rock lava reef isn’t as bad. All are hard. But 75% of the time it’s just turbulence an your more concern with your board hitting you than the bottom.
@@sarah-lea8104 anything you do has hazards though. And my explanation of a wipe out is anything above head high and knee to waist high bottom. Point breaks an some beach breaks. You’ll likely never touch bottom. I’m talking about extreme surfing conditions.

My son was totally psyching when you guy's were at the Pupukea Grill because there's a Green Modulator 6024 siren across the street lol!! He's big into civil defence sirens he knows all about them haha!! So we were both psyching for 2 different reasons.
I live in Cape Town - Clifton - South Atlantic coast of South Africa. Our swell pushes out of the Antarctic and hits the continental shelf late. Our coastal topography is typically vertical sandbanks and huge shore breaks like this. Very at home watching. Water mostly 50s... cold water dumps kick your ass that much harder.

Ke'iki is like a right-breaking shore break version of Teahupo'o, It's also bipolar like Teahupo'o. Some days, the wave is fairly mild and not so heavy. Other days, the wave breaks like extremely thick slabs of concrete.
Ahhhh so good i want rn ahhh amazing waves gotta keep myself over I always watch amazed riding the heavy waves with heavy music like Delta Parole or with relaxing music videos in background.
