Jungshook it's so surprising to me how EXID was not nominated for MAMA. I'm not going to throw any shade here, but here are some facts. LIE got 4 wins, promoted for 4 weeks, sold well over a million copies of albums, digital singles, and what not. AOA got 2 wins, only promoted for 2 weeks, and still got nominated for MAMA. EXID went up against EXO on Mnet Countdown (one of the bigger shows) and lost to EXO in a near 50/50 battle. Meanwhile BlackPink goes up against EXO on a smaller music show and loses 98% to 2%. Yet BlackPink gets nominated and EXID doesn't. EXID also had a very good year. Solji has been on countless singing shows, Hani was the MC of two big shows, Hyerin was on Masked Singer and on SEVERAL variety shows. Junghwa acted in a Chinese drama and was on a few variety shows as well. LE did some collabs and is currently on Hip Hop Tribe 2. Not to mention, EXID performed in several big Korean festivals and also traveled to China and Japan, and will go to Vietnam in December. I'm sure there are still a few things I'm missing, but can you believe EXID has accomplished all of this and still didn't get nominated for MAMA?

You forgot 2NE1 . no offense but EXID is just like 4Minute 2.0 . But EXID member personality makes them stands out alongside with their music style. In Korea, majority of company always debut cute/innocent style girl group to appeal more fans since korea prefer cute and innocent like woman. But there are some girl group that come out with overly sexy concept (stellar) , weirdos concept (sixbomb) , but exid style is not that sexy, not cute either which makes them stands out , maybe not really in Korea, but internationally. Just like 4Minute , their concept constantly change. But exid seems like found their color now. When exid debut, they just that "other" kpop girl groups, that debut in same way and concept. But , 2NE1 fiercely came with hip hop concept, which is never been tried by girl groups. And 2NE1 concept also does'nt change. Maybe in terms of music style , but 2NE1 never changes their true color. So, the most unique girl group would be 2NE1.

Jungshook it's so surprising to me how EXID was not nominated for MAMA. I'm not going to throw any shade here, but here are some facts. LIE got 4 wins, promoted for 4 weeks, sold well over a million copies of albums, digital singles, and what not. AOA got 2 wins, only promoted for 2 weeks, and still got nominated for MAMA. EXID went up against EXO on Mnet Countdown (one of the bigger shows) and lost to EXO in a near 50/50 battle. Meanwhile BlackPink goes up against EXO on a smaller music show and loses 98% to 2%. Yet BlackPink gets nominated and EXID doesn't. EXID also had a very good year. Solji has been on countless singing shows, Hani was the MC of two big shows, Hyerin was on Masked Singer and on SEVERAL variety shows. Junghwa acted in a Chinese drama and was on a few variety shows as well. LE did some collabs and is currently on Hip Hop Tribe 2. Not to mention, EXID performed in several big Korean festivals and also traveled to China and Japan, and will go to Vietnam in December. I'm sure there are still a few things I'm missing, but can you believe EXID has accomplished all of this and still didn't get nominated for MAMA?

You forgot 2NE1 . no offense but EXID is just like 4Minute 2.0 . But EXID member personality makes them stands out alongside with their music style. In Korea, majority of company always debut cute/innocent style girl group to appeal more fans since korea prefer cute and innocent like woman. But there are some girl group that come out with overly sexy concept (stellar) , weirdos concept (sixbomb) , but exid style is not that sexy, not cute either which makes them stands out , maybe not really in Korea, but internationally. Just like 4Minute , their concept constantly change. But exid seems like found their color now. When exid debut, they just that "other" kpop girl groups, that debut in same way and concept. But , 2NE1 fiercely came with hip hop concept, which is never been tried by girl groups. And 2NE1 concept also does'nt change. Maybe in terms of music style , but 2NE1 never changes their true color. So, the most unique girl group would be 2NE1.
