Great video Adam, a fair job putting it on by yourself, you can’t beat having a couple of bodies when hooking up machinery, but to be fair you set that up very well

I find it safer to do it yourself so you know nothing will be dropped on you or toplink not attatched when someone raises arms. Many people get trapped that way.

Sums it up that a farmer would protect his tractor bonnet but not his head. It's not so much bits of hedge the window guards protect you from, it is a flail coming off that will kill you. But hey who wants to clean mesh out? Poly will cloud if left forever in the sun, but taken off each season and stored not so much. poly can also be buffed back if it clouds.

How often do you attach it? How long it takes to attach it ? Is it a specific position of the flail when drop it off? I prefer the arm along the line with the tractor, not perpendicular.

I for one like your bonnet guard, does the job and once bolted up looks good plus shaped to tractor. Be good to sort a door/window even if it is weld mesh that needs clearing at times, I know a contractor that hit some old barbed wire grown into a hedge , a 2 or 3" long piece of barbed came through the side and straight into an eye. Was not a good outcome.

I do the same, also would change those F14's, never used them myself on a Tuff cut head but have heard a few horror stories from my friends ripping rotor lugs off Multi-cut heads, on the plus side the flail didn't break. I got onto F11's (Competition) they seem to work well if you meet a stone.
