The amount of infection maps I've seen lately with piles of weapons, secret stashes, and enormous, wide open sight lines that are easy to camp is a little disturbing. It's like everything is slanted towards humans having cool last stand moments and no one wants the zombies to have fun. Ivoluke getting triple digits in points while everyone else is in single digits, barely making double digits, is pretty ridiculous.
I ain't gonna lie I went into forge and altered all of these maps to my preference. I wanted to make sure I got the best content for my community. If you and/or others don't agree with my decision, I understand and you're allowed to have your opinions.
@@IVOLUKE I feel like it would be less work to just simply play the maps as they are with your friends and allow yourself to fail and get 2nd, 3rd, or 10th place sometimes. It might not be the most glamorous, exciting, or validating position, but it would be genuine. It doesn't really feel like a showcase of your skill when you're...cheating like this. And it doesn't really feel like a forge map showcase when these aren't even the real maps. The whole thing just comes off really fake and off-putting. It's your channel, and you can do what you want with it, but I feel like you would get more out of this experience by just being yourself and having real fun with real challenges.
Interesting that you say I am cheating when I am not using any hacks of any kind. All I am doing is editing a map to my liking ensuring that I get the exact video that I want. These Halo videos are more than just forge showcases. They are memories for me and the world to cherish. Not everyone will like it and that's fine. As you said, this is my channel and I ultimately do as I please. You and anyone else are more than welcome to have whatever opinions you have. You may feel however which way you want about me. I am open to criticism and will make changes if necessary. However I disagree with your claim that I am "cheating" when I have never and will never cheat in a video game. That is disingenuous. Guess we define cheating differently.
@@IVOLUKE It's not cheating in the aimbot, invincibility, unlimited ammo, noclip, modding way. It's not hacking. It's cheating in the sense that you're giving yourself an advantage that wasn't part of the original map. Those weapon piles and secret stashes and stuff were there because you put them there. Only you know where they all are. And until now you've never made it clear that you were manipulating the maps. These videos were presented like the genuine article and you're just that insanely good. It's been said in your in-game chat before, one of the players was like "What is this edit? What's going on? This is lame." The video description says "Map created by Cambyses lll." It does not say "Map created by Cambyses lll and edited by me." It does not say "Extra Weapons version" or "IVOLUKE edition". If everyone (the players and the RUclips audience) knew about the changes and what they were, it would not be cheating. It's that layer of secrecy and fakeness that makes it a bit unlikable in my eyes. Anyway, I'm not trying to start beef or anything. We're all humans at the end of the day and I'm moreso just trying to share my point of view. I hope you can understand where I'm coming from.

At the end of the day, this is a video game and these videos are made for fun and memorable content. No crimes are being committed and ultimately people are not forced to play these games with me. They have the free will and choice to quit. The way I see it, certain sacrifices must be made in order to create what I believe is great content. I do not make videos with malicious intent towards no one. All I want is memorable content to be created, not for people to think I am fake and keep secrets because I give myself advantages in a video game. Everyone in these videos ultimately had the same chances that I did to utilize said advantages. I seek victory, not fairness. Not trying to argue with you either. I understand your point of view 100% and moving forward, if I make any future videos that are like these infection ones, I will make sure that people know the maps were altered. I'd like to put an end to any further quarreling and enjoy the new year peacefully ✌
