Chuuya is a minor character in the main series and doesnt show up too much since he can practically curb stomp anyone. But he is a major character in the novels exploring Dazai's past (minus Dark era, which was one of the first few backstories written for Dazai). Both Dark era and another novel have been animated but if you are open to it I'd recommend checking out the novels as well after the episodes/season since the anime takes out a lot of important elements that explain how Dazai ticks. Also Dazai does laugh at the rich girl act in the manga which is his first genuine belly laugh in the manga in the anime while recording Dazai's VA forgot to laugh so Chuuya's VA improvised and it was funny so they kept it in.
I love Chuuya's like behaviour and dynamic with Dazai a lot! I get that he's a minor character BUT DAMN I HOPE WE SEE A LOT MORE OF THEM. omg did they!?!?! i love that! CUTE.
