- Trying to get out to signal loss so it will go into "Lost connection" and auto-RTH. I made it out to 1319 feet today. Scared the crows out of the forest at 00:18 after applying red reflective tape, which seems to have worked, so far...
Music is: Revelation by Matthew John Torres
It is a durable little Drone. Love watching to see what's next.
Yeah, that's 5 crashes in the last 9 days, and she's fine. A little farther each time. I scared a bunch of crows away at 0:18. 😅
Glad you are enjoying them.
😬 tough drone😀👍🐾🐈⬛👏

@@gama45 👏👏👏👍😀
Great testing ground Gary and see what you mean about the crows! Glad your drone survived
Thank you Shaun! Those crows had me worried, coming right at me, but they were just getting the heck outa there. Hahaha
Brilliant mate, not sure about Faith but I was getting lost haha! She brushing off these crashes! Another fantastic video 👌👍
Hahaha, thanks mate! Yeah, I have a lot of faith in Faith! All the crashes were while I was in control. Once I hit RTH, she did an awesome job of avoiding everything and getting out of there and back home! 😉😊
@@gama45 haha fantastic , you do have a lot of faith in faith ! it’s just amazing how well they get back dodging everything! Great videos mate 👍
So was it okay? Thanks Gary for the video
Yeah, that's 5 crashes in the last 9 days, and she's fine. 😅
Dam,5? You're a radical dude..😂
Thanks for the reply.Look forward to the next video.
The video looks very nice, but it's a shame about the bump. It seems like the obstacle detection system mistook a branch in the foreground for a tree in the background at a greater distance. The system works well, but it's not perfect in very challenging situations.
Thanks Sergio! Yes, the drone has a little trouble detecting those tiny branches and wires, but it does great at avoiding them when on RTH. It has amazed me how it has managed to maneuver to get out of some of those situations.
After so many tests and crashes, do you have any conclusions about the APAS5 system? Is it bypass nifty settings? When accidents occur, what objects are the most dangerous?
Yes, so far, APASS has done great! I haven't tried Nifty yet. Wouldn't that lower the sensitivity to fly closer to objects? As close as she comes to those small bare branches, I'm afraid she wouldn't act fast enough to clear them. I'm not exactly clear on how Nifty works, but I'll have to give it a try. So far, all crashes have been into those small bare branches while I'm in control. Once I hit RTH, she does an awesome job of avoiding everything, maneuvering through the mess, and getting back home.
