Yo! Hope you liked the Isaac. There's already been a few DLC questions, so I want to mention that for everyone. When I used to play, a lot of it was on Afterbirth+. I removed it for this video to make it feel like a pure fresh start. Any upcoming Isaac stuff will be in Afterbirth+, and once I've put a dent in the content I'll add Repentance. I didn't even know it existed until kind of recently so that'll be a fun one. I really appreciate the love even though this isn't a true first try. I thought people would be disappointed by that. This'll still be a genuine first try series, but every now and then I might throw in a fresh file challenge for a game I just really like. Thanks boys

@@mintmuffledWhen you uninstall and reinstall the DLCs, the game tends to remove some of your progress in varying amounts. You could get lucky and have the game not freak out though..
I know theres been a lot of comments saying this, but i HIGHLY recommend getting the DLC for the game. All of it. AB, AB+, and Repentance. The amount of content they add and the rebalances of every item + synergy is amazing, makes the game infinitely more replayable and even fixes your issue with azazel and soy milk (somewhat)! i got them all shortly after getting rebirth and i regret nothing, honestly. its basically an entirely new game, plus your special rooms just look bare without the special doors and that alone makes it more than worth it haha

I discovered your channel through your phenomenal Hades video and Isaac is one of my favourite games of all time, so I'm pretty hyped to say the least 😄 But I have a a few ideas/critiques. I know that normally in this series you don't play the DLCs, but Isaac might be one of the only games where having the DLC is almost mandatory, especially for your type of videos. Repentence was massive. A TON of new items, balance changes for almost any floor and many, many items, new enemies, bosses, and 2 new routes with new endings. Since you already played the game the additional content could spice up your project. How about you need to beat all the endbosses (Mege Satan, Mother, The Beast)? You could even use your main savefile so you can go to the new routes. Isaac is my favourite videogame and I enjoy watching you play, but of all the videos in this series, this one hooked me the least tbh, although the potential for your kind of videos is virtually endless!
Glad you're liking the stuff man! I played on Rebirth because in the future I was hoping to have three "I 100%'d Isaac" type videos for Rebirth, Afterbirth, and Repentance. I realized though that I can have the other DLC downloaded and still do those videos. I'll probably play on Afterbirth+ for future stuff. I want to avoid Repentance for now until I've done a few more videos. Repentance is just so massive I'd like to complete some of the stuff I'm more familiar with before adding it. In the short term my first thought was to get every completion mark on hard mode for each character.

I've thought about it. I think the fact that it's a blind run (most of the time) makes backseating too risky. One annoying guy could just ruin the whole experience. btw I know it's been a while on streams, but I'm planning to stream Hades starting Monday-ish.

@@mintmuffledrepentance adds an unbelievable amount of content to the game, along with greatly improving all the clutter that AB+ added by buffing lord of the items, so every single item you get actually adds something to your run instead of just being filler.

One tip I never see many people practice is to wait to pick up soul or black hearts until you're about to go to next floor (especially on floor 1). Since you cant get a devil deal on first floor anyways you may as well just tank red heart damage and then bring that blue heart to next floor to help save your devil deal chance. If you get hit and lose the blue heart (like he did in this video on first floor boss) than it was kind of wasted for nothing.
Always abuse the arcade, a handful of hearts can easily snowball into generating enough resources to get all of the machines to pay out an item and have shit loads of money, keys and bombs
Just froim the title, havent watched it yet, but I can say no. Not at all. The 'end' moves with the first several successful runs. lol Also if that's not Rebirth then you have infinite soul heart capacity which was hilarious.
idk I don't think that really flies as an excuse anymore. If you want to be critical that fine, but don't blame it on internet culture. That's a you thing.
Xbox will track certain stats in games, those are some of them for Isaac. If you have Xbox, it's on another tab on the left while your looking at a game's achievements.
