  • Hello everyone. Hope you have a great day today! This time I propose a little rhythm challenge. It seems very simple, but at least for me, it was harder to play than I had expected. You can also try it and write me about your experience. At the end of the video you will find a backing track to play with.
I hope it will be a lot of fun :-)

I’ve tried that pattern, and it is more complicated than it looks. The tone is brutal once you’ve mastered it.

I don't have a real gear. Only my laptop and VST plugins. :-)

@NPE-channel how much mixing did you have to do to get that chug sounding the way it does in the vid?

Not much, actually. It's just two different presets and impulse responses, panned 100% left and right. And a little bit of EQ. One of the channels is, obviously, pre-recorded in order to make the whole thing sound bigger. I could have done it with a single guitar track, but with the double track it sounds much better :-) Maybe I can even make a separate video about my setup. Idk if it is going to be interesting to watch :-D

@NPE-channel I'm in two bands right now as a guitarist, death metal and black metal respectively, and for people like me who have no idea what they're doing, I'd love to see the intermediary steps for tone. I'm not an engineer, but I have gear yknow?

I will try to show my approach to the guitar tone step by step in one of my next videos. Of course, I'm not a biggest expert, but I will try to show what I usually do
