It's time to learn a difference between triplets and gallop. This exercise let you hear like they sound and alternate between them. P.S. In this tempo it is surprisingly hard to play it on time. Faster tempos feel easier. At least to me.

In this video I made an adaptation of Amon Amarth's song without distortion, using only clean guitar sound. I believe the original song key is B minor, but I couldn't go that low with my guitar tuning. My tuning is D standard. Anyway, I hope you like my version of a song. content wise I like it, but for an instructional video I would expect better timing, your triplets are off beat and uneven. Although it seems like you're more comfortable at faster speeds (common), as I watched your other videos and the timing is pretty accurate. That said, I still like it as we all must constantly practice timing, I'd say more importantly at slow speeds as we naturally focus more on faster pace and then we can't play slow stuff on time. Anyway, I like these videos, good job mate!

Yep, this training is also for myself, as I'm not an atomic clock unfortunately :-D The world already has the "Atomic Clock" guy, who is amazing! :-D Anyway, I'm glad that I'm able to share those ideas for workouts and improving my own skills as well. Slower tempos are definitely more challenging. But it is not because in faster tempos it is more in time, but because off time playing is less noticeable, when you play faster :-D So, let's improving together!
@@NPE-channel I'm glad about the nature of your response. Great attitude! Interesting point about faster playing. I find that I have a tempo that I'm used to - about 75% of my max speed which I am comfortable *and* accurate. Anything significantly faster or significantly slower starts to show timing issues. Let's go practice :D

Thanks for the remark! Yep, the tuning is D standard. I'll put it into the description. But in this case one string is enough and it is just D. The rest of the strings are not needed. They are for noobs! :-D

Yes, this is in my todo list. I have to think how to do it better. It would be a useful feature, especially if generated result is complicated and not easy to count.

I’ve tried that pattern, and it is more complicated than it looks. The tone is brutal once you’ve mastered it.

I've got one of the cheapest one with a fixed bridge. But I'm pretty happy with it so far. This particular model has a standard scale and it is hard (or even impossible) to tune it properly on lower tunings. For the standard E or D# it sounds awesome to me. Also pickup signal is quite loud and it has quite a lot of mids. If this is your type of sound, I guess, it is good to go :-)
Here are my tips: #1: D# standard #2: Chromaticism #3: 000000000000 #4: Muted power chords #5: SPEEED
D# ? That's only a half step below E. I would say D or lower D# or Eb is thrash metal teritory not death metal
