Hi! Building decisions like those are down to personal/regional preference, so rest assured you could build this design (or any other) with the finishes you like instead!
I think the hunchback roof is more mcmansion style
Was the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo the inspiration for the pink bedroom? That’s the only other place where I’ve seen that shade of pink used.

Not everyone wants that
As someone living in an open concept home...you get over that pretty quickly. Never again for me.
I love this home but i need it to have 5 bedrooms and 4 1/2 bathrooms

I do not like the floors they look cheap but I like the idea of no open concept
Hi Krista! The best part of building is that you can choose the products used to finish your own home. In this case, the dark floor and glossy finish didn't photograph very well. We actually have photos of a new, much different build of this house plan on our site, so come take a look! Just scroll through the image viewer to get beyond the digital renderings. It's a beautiful house, but a bit too big for me.
Craftsman? more like Mcmansion with craftsman façade elements. the roof is unattractive and the sloping exterior wall extension has been poorly executed. i love the curve details though, but they definitely do not align with the craftsman style. the only craftsman i see is the window trim and pillars
Matthew Luck it is only 2267 sq ft. I actually thought it should be bigger!
Loved the outside. The inside is horrible.
