My first Mamey Sapote Fruit (It was Lorito)

In this video, in error, I kept saying the mamey was the Viejo variety. The correct variety was Lorito which I grew and ate.
The other varieties I spoke about were
Magaña, Pace, and Pantin also known as key west.

Thanks for the video on Mamey. I don't have any nor have I tasted the fruit. It's a big tree but for real estate spot, I prefer a Sapodilia and I recently bought a Butterscotch.

I got my frist fruit this year about 2 weeks ago. I think it is a magana variety, the growth is dwarf. When do you eat them? When the fruit is soft or when they are hard. I pick it when the color on the inside was orange but I let the fruit to get soft , was that the right thing to do.
