- You can get three of the dreadlocker management tools for the price of $9.95 I found them on amazon searching for interlocking tools. With a little bit of practice, I was able to complete a 3pt rotation on one of my Sisterlocks that had just a tiny bit of new growth. I have to admit that once I figured out how to get the tool to work for me I got excited about the thought of being closer and able to start my self retightening journey. I did leave the website of the interlocking company down below in case you want to check them out. I believe it will be an enlightening journey that I'll go through to construct my own Sisterlock maintenance and hair care routine. Thanks for watching, see you in the next one!

There re a lot of other tools that make it a lot easier. O-Locker tool, London Lock tool and many people make their own out of tapestry needles. My suggestion would be that you insert facing down and pull up the ensure you're not making holes in your locks by not applying the right amount of tension. There are a lot of videos of ladies with sisterlocks who self retighten. It also may make it easier if you cut off the part you wont be using to make it easier for you to hold. But practice will make perfect.

You will wrap the lock around the hook and pul it through the other side is more for the traditional locks but it’s the best tool

The olocker is the absolute best the self-retie your sisterlocks you should definitely give it a try you won’t regret it all.... but delivery time is long

Pass it through your hair with the hook facing your scalp and then hook the pic in and pull through. Hope that helps.

I’ve tried this, but the indented part still snags hair and doesn’t grip my loc. There needs to be a closure to hold the hair.

I know this is older but have you had success using this tool? Have you tried wrapping your loc once around the back of the tool before pulling it through? That may help. Hope you are enjoying your journey. 🤗

It’s depends it took me 36hrs to complete my install.
I use the Easy Loc Hair Tool so far so good it’s small and goes straight though my loc with out tugging and the price was not that bad. With the price of the tool and shipping it costs 20 dollars in total

This is to use on someone else’s loc’s.
Turn down and hold loc in place with index finger to pull out.
It looks like your doing it wrong and it's to big.
Most likely first time trying
