安部敦子／Atsuko ABE (旧姓:大石敦子/Atsuko Oishi)
静岡市出身。4歳よりヴァイオリンを始め、中学校卒業と同時にオーストリア国立ウィーン音楽大学に入学。ウィーンフィルコンサートマスターのライナー・キュッヒル氏らに師事。在学中より豊かな音楽性を高く評価され、オーストリア、ドイツを中心にヨーロッパで活躍。
1989年、ディプロムを取得。全員一致の優秀賞を得て同大学を修了。
1991年に帰国。以降国内外でフリーの演奏家としてリサイタル、室内楽等の演奏活動を続ける他、エッセイ、講演会、シンポジウムなど多方面で活躍。
2009年秋より横浜市在住。
was born in Shizuoka City (Japan) in 1966. She started playing the violin at the age of four and entered the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna in the same year when she graduated from junior high school. She studied under Professor Rainer Küchl, a former concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
At University she was highly regarded for her rich musicality and active in Europe, mainly in Austria and Germany. When she completed her studies with a Diploma in 1989, she also received an unanimous award for excellence.
She returned to Japan in 1991. Since then she has continued to perform in various kinds of concert forms such as recitals and chamber music as a freelance artist in her home country and abroad. Furthermore she has been active in various fields as an essayist, lecturer and panelist at symposiums.
She has lived in Yokohama since the fall of 2009.
島田広／Hiroshi SHIMADA
1963年高知市生まれ。東京芸術大学作曲科を卒業、同大学院を修了。在学中に安宅賞を受賞。1992年日本交響楽振興財団作曲賞に入選。
現在、横浜国立大学教育学部准教授。作曲家団体「21世紀音楽の会」会員。
作曲活動と並行して、楽曲の解釈力とアンサンブル能力を高く評価され、ピアノ伴奏者としても広く活動を続けている。
was born in Kochi City (Japan) in 1963. He graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Department of Composition with a master`s degree and the Ataka Award.
In 1992 he was selected for the Japan Symphony Promotion Foundation Composition Award.
He is currently an associate Professor at the Faculty of Education at Yokohama National University and a member of the composer group "21st Century Music Society".
In parallel with his work as a composer his ability to interpret and ensemble pieces is highly valued. Therefore here continues to be widely active as a piano accompanist.
