F A B U L O U S ! I remember learning this A Minor Chorale when I was 18 (1976 - probably before you were born!) and playing it at a recital in the school chapel on a very large instrument with a beautiful French-voiced trompette available for the solo section in A Major! If only I had been able to play it as well as you do in this recording, which is exquisite! The Cavaille-Coll at St Etienne is my favourite sample set and listening to this recording was a wonderful treat for me. BRAVO!
Thank you so much for your kind words! (And apologies- somehow your comment had gotten lost in the held comments area) I just picked this one back up and it really is a piece that doesn’t disappoint to come back to- especially when you’ve actually got the right sounds for Franck. Would love to hear your take on the chorale! Wish you all the best and wonderful job on your channel!
BRAVO !! It's Spirit and Beauty ...for ever ! HOW MUCH César Frank SAVED the organ romantic period !! Thanks again !! Greetings from Québec city, Canada.
Thank you so much! I got the keyboards from a company that ordered them from another company- so I’m not 100% sure but I think they came from www.midiworks.ca/index.php/products?route=product/build
After about two years I still love the sound of that sample set- it’s definitely aged well. Good luck with your purchase and thanks for the encouragement!
I assume this is a Hauptwerk organ. Sounds wonderful. I'm really wanting to find out the costs of setting up a Hauptwerk organ. They surely have a wonderful sound, far superior to the digital Allen and Rogers organs, IMO.
I’ve really enjoyed being able to have samples like that at home! How you set up a Hauptwerk system is really up to what you’re trying to accomplish. There are some good a la carte midi keyboard and pedalboard options. If you can get an old but midi capable organ it’s also possible just to run your sound through your laptop. Thanks for listening and wish you all the best!

Thanks so much! Couldn’t agree more about Franck- the longer I live with his pieces the more I appreciate all he created. All the best from Atlanta!
Beautifully played!
Thank you so much!
Brilliant, I really enjoyed this! The console looks lovely too - who made the keyboards? Thanks!

Wonderful execution!! One question. Is your version of Caen dry or wet?
Thanks!
Thank you! I shortened the reverb of the wet sample set to make it sound more plausible where I’m playing.

I say this because this sampler is wonderful and I intend to buy it.
If possible, post more videos!
