Awesome rigs with a bit of work!
Very nice! My only complaint with my Gladiator was torque twist when it was on a higher traction surfaces. I added a Reefs sway bar with a 3D printed mount on a hybrid SCX10 III / Gladiator rear cross member. Works great!
That’s what I was thinking about doing where did you find a 3-D printed mount for the sway bar??
@@ProNoobRC Spare Time Hobbies makes the 3D mount for the Reefs sway bar. The catch is that it's designed for the shorter wheelbase SCX10 III, not the Gladiator. The Gladiator rear cross member doesn't have the 4 holes to accept the 3D mount like the SCX10 III does. The Gladiator cross member is way too far back to make the bar work, so I cut & spliced an SCX10 III rear cross member mounted closer to the rear axle which takes the place of the front portion of the Gladiator rear cross member mounted in its stock location. This is a case of pic being worth a 1000 words. Good luck!

The rear sway bar is an easy solution if you use a 10.3 rear bumper/body mount. I cut down the mount to fit within the chasis rails and bolted the Reefs sway bar like it was stock.

The end points for the micro is adjustable on the DX3, Big Head RC posted how to do it, super simple. It's a shame Axial seem not to have made this more known as it would have saved them millions in replacement servos! (that also burn out immediately as the problem still exists)

You can adjust the dig servo end points. Its simple.
Yes earlier in these comments i viewer had linked us to another RUclips explaining the method. Simpler to upgrade but we still haven’t on ours and going strong

Yes not easily or listed in the manual. We found it on another channel but really should just swap radio when user upgrades their radio game too. Not bad radio but other options would be nice too
Very nice rig. I went with the 10-3 JLU. Can I have the specs on the wheel and tire combo you are using. Been trying to mount the stock Axial Falkens to a set of Vanquish Method wheels and having no luck cause of the loose fit. The Goodyear’s look nice and scale on your Jeep.

Can you share the secret of the coating? I thought of using actual bed liner I have but I don’t think the texture will work but this is a mod I wanna do on my gladiator before I even seen this vid. Please share!

70 wt oil fixes the long links, I tried a rear sway bar, removed it the same day, ruins articulation & flips constantly
Ah! Good call! We haven’t installed ours yet for same reason. I longer skid and shorter links would be great.

Plastidip spray could pull off that textured coating.
We used leakseal and sand first. It’s on really really good. Or do you Jean to add a design to it?

@@ProNoobRC I use it for sealing things down. On my 1/24 scale indoor course, I used a textured paint first, then added the colors I wanted, finished by sealing it with plastidip spray. Kinda like cheating but on this course it's needed

It's true that the front axle breaks easy ?
We have not experienced any breaking of the front axles on these trucks but I can confirm yes I have seen lots of photos of broken axle housing‘s so it depends on how you drive it. If ya catch it or just let it roll down a mountain.
