I understand how hardworking Stacey is however I think Joe would have got more votes than her due to his popularity. And for the record Joe and Dianne were always the first ones to go through to the next round , because they had the most votes. So if winning the final is based on the number of votes, and considering how many people would have voted for them, where did all those votes go? Strictly were also aware that Joe and Dianne were getting the most amount of votes each week(due to Joe's fan base), therefore knew that it is very likely for them to win, and for whatever reason decided that Joe and Dianne don't deserve to win. Stacey just pipped Joe to the post. One of the closest votes in Strictly history. I know someone who works for the voting company, who said they ensure each vote is counted extremely carefully. I’m not sure in much detail about the voting process but I know that much.

Glossophxbia Joe had more of a presence on the internet but everyone else and their middle aged mums were voting for Stacey. Of course allegations of rigging will arise as they always do but in every single online poll I saw tonight Stacey won by about 10% over Joe.
They all deserved to win. In the end the public chose Stacey and Kevin who were a fantastic couple. End of. I'm sure Joe and Dianne aren't too upset, they ended on a high and can be proud.
Oh rubbish. I realise you're a fan, as am I, but he certainly DID NOT deserve to win. He was far below par compared to the others. And yes, Ashley and Faye had quite a bit of experience and are natural dancers but their choreography was WAAAAAY harder and more intricate than the others.
So happy and excited that Stacey and Kevin have one they really deserved it. They were brilliant throughout the series. Stacey just got better and better every week. Considering she had no dance experience she did brilliantly. Kevin is my favourite professional dancer and should have won it before now and is a fabulous dancer i'm always rooting for him. Quite apart from any of the politics behind it I just wanted to say I really respect Claudia for making sure Kevin was ok, he must have been completely overwhelmed and Tess was just stood there gormlessly. Also Stacey’s families reactions were golden❤️

Last year it was Debbie, a runner up. ITV have a one in four chance of choosing the winner and as Stacey was the bookies favourite, it is likely to sway the programmes decision when choosing a couple to appear.
I don't know how people think its rigged, Kevin has danced and fought his way to the final so many times and has missed out on winning, he finally wins with stacey, a lovely and fabulous contestant and now people say its rigged. Stacey also has plenty of fans and in the final people who didn't vote before often do vote, especially if they think there's an obvious winner, like Joe seemed to be. Ashley and Faye both have an extensive dance background and while I love Joe, Stacey is a stronger dancer. She's the worthy winner.

This was so rigged! On a TV show my mum watches (called This Morning), they always have the winner of strictly on the showon the Monday. The girl presenter accidentally slipped up and told everyone that's Stacey and Kevin would by on it on Monday! Woops, guess they just revealed it was rigged

Watching these 4 couples put a smile on my face. All of the dances were so expertly done that one couldn't tell the celeb contestant from the pro!! Very happy for Kevin & Stacy, though I wouldn't have been surprised at any of the couples winning.

Hey, so I watched this show purely for Joe. However, I wanted stacey or Joe to win because they were my favourites and I think they Both improved massively. im really glad Ashley didn't win because she literally is a dancer and I don't even think she should of been in the show in the first place, but despite starting as a Joe fan, im actually quite okay with stacey winning. you probably don't care, but I feel like I should tell you this so you don't assume that all the Joe fans are angry and claiming its rigged, cause its just a few :)
DestinyBlooms The votes are counted by a private adjudicator who have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with the BBC or the show it's self. They were simply booked in just like Joe and Dianne were because that's how those shows work. It's just simply a coincidence that they were booked before they won. Every one of those contestants deserved to win and even though Joe does have a big fan base, the probability of every single fan voting is very slim. Taking into account that the demographic for strictly is moderately the same as the shows Stacey is a part of, she was the most likely to win because of who watches and who votes

And just because his sister has a lot of UK following doesn't mean they will vote for him too. Strictly is more a show for the older audience, and I'm pretty sure the majority of voters are way above the average age of Joe's following. This was not rigged. Everyone who was in the final deserved to be the winner! Everyone but Ahsley was never in the danceoff, hence they had very many supporters. Pissed me off that Ashley got the shit that she did, yes she has dance experience which is just a slight advantage, Latin and ballroom dancing is far away from what she knows, I know the owner of a dance studio who has worked with a lot of top acts in many different styles of dance and I asked her if she could dance Latin and ballroom and she told me hell no because even though she's a phenomenal dancer in her own right she wouldn't be able to grasp that style of dancing and all the little things you have to nail to do it, so yes Ashley had dance experience and if this competition was called strictly come dancing in a girl band I'd understand everyone's points but it's not as she's just as much of a learner than everyone else and while I'm on it Faye had dance experience, I don't remember hearing anyone bash her
Ever since her street commercial routine moved me to tears I knew she was going to win it. She has this amazing emotion that she puts into all her dances and tonight she had a bad night but the public pulled through. Absolutely deserving winner ❤️.

Fay and Ashley were absolutely brilliant!! My favourite two of the series. Such a pleasure to watch them dancing! Stacey was also superb. I really didn't expect her to win though! I guess she had the likability factor.
I’d like to just make a quick announcement that This Morning book couples for after strictly based on betting odds and Stacey and Kevin had the highest odds heading into the final so using the interview booking to prove that the final was rigged is frankly ridiculous.
I couldn't decide who I thought would win, personally I liked Joe and Ashley the best as well as Stacey's Paso and Faye's Couple's Choice dance. They were all brilliant! I hope nobody starts arguing that the show is rigged or start taking digs at Stacey because they wanted Joe to win. They've all worked so so hard throughout all of this and all deserved to lift that trophy tonight. Just be happy that your favourite made it so far into the show and that they all pulled out their best dances and gave their all to 3 very complicated routines each! Loved the show this year!

People seem to forget that this is a dancing competition, Stacey was by far the best and made the most progress in her journey so can all the stupid 12 year old Joe fan girls stop complaining!
If the winner should be picked due to their dance techniques and consistency, then the winner should have been Faye or Ashley. Stacey and Joe grew as the competition went on but Ashley and Faye set a high standard from Day one and were able to maintain it throughout the series (no mean feat). This should not be about who has the largest fan club but who has the strongest and most consistent dance technique. It is a dance competition after all. Anything short of this totally defeats the purpose of the show. Personally, wasn't too happy with Stacey winning but I could accommodate it because I saw her growth and hard work. Audiences need to be more objective when voting so that the most deserving person wins!
This is a hugely, entertaining show in every way..and what I have just said speaks volumes! Congratulations to Stacey and Kevin, their success is well deserved.

Shouted with joy when they read out Staceys name! She so deserves it, such an amazing person and her dancing has improved so much. To those who think it's rigged because Joe has a lot of fans, keep in mind that this is one of the biggest shows in the UK, there is a huge amount of votes and the audience aren't necessarily the same as Joe's audience so even if he got a million fan votes there would be a lot more normal votes and since Stacey was clearly a better dancer they were more likely to go to her. As a Joe fan he would be ashamed at how angry and immature many of you are being in the comment section.

So happy and excited that Stacey and Kevin have one they really deserved it. They were brilliant throughout the series. Stacey just got better and better every week. Considering she had no dance experience she did brilliantly. Kevin is my favourite professional dancer and should have won it before now and is a fabulous dancer i'm always rooting for him. Well done Stacey and Kevin true champions.

Wow. Completely unfair to say this show was rigged just because the person you wanted to win didn't. Stacey also has plenty of fans and in the final people who didn't vote before often do vote, especially if they think there's an obvious winner, like Joe seemed to be. Ashley and Faye both have an extensive dance background and while I love Joe, Stacey is a stronger dancer. She's the worthy winner.

Watching these 4 couples put a smile on my face. All of the dances were so expertly done that one couldn't tell the celeb contestant from the pro!! Very happy for Kevin & Stacy, though I wouldn't have been surprised at any of the couples winning.

Hey, so I watched this show purely for Joe. However, I wanted stacey or Joe to win because they were my favourites and I think they Both improved massively. im really glad Ashley didn't win because she literally is a dancer and I don't even think she should of been in the show in the first place, but despite starting as a Joe fan, im actually quite okay with stacey winning. you probably don't care, but I feel like I should tell you this so you don't assume that all the Joe fans are angry and claiming its rigged, cause its just a few :)

They were simply booked in just like Joe and Dianne were because that's how those shows work. It's just simply a coincidence that they were booked before they won. Every one of those contestants deserved to win and even though Joe does have a big fan base, the probability of every single fan voting is very slim. Taking into account that the demographic for strictly is moderately the same as the shows Stacey is a part of, she was the most likely to win because of who watches and who votes
This comment section is making me kinda angry. All those upset fangirls claiming it was rigged because Joe didn't won. Ever considered that much of his following is from outside the UK? And just because his sister has a lot of UK following doesn't mean they will vote for him too. Strictly is more a show for the older audience, and I'm pretty sure the majority of voters are way above the average age of Joe's following.
This was not rigged. Everyone who was in the final deserved to be the winner! Everyone but Ahsley was never in the danceoff, hence they had very many supporters. Joe did amazingly well throughout the series (I didn't really expect that though), but overall, Stacey was the better dancer! Also I'm so glad that Kevin finally wo the Glitterball. He's so adorable, by far my favourite male pro!
I would have loved to see either Stacey or Joe win but I can't help but think the BBC rigged this (or disqualified many votes as they said they were going to). Congrats to Stacey anyway🎉! Pissed me off that Ashley got the shit that she did, yes she has dance experience which is just a slight advantage, Latin and ballroom dancing is far away from what she knows, I know the owner of a dance studio who has worked with a lot of top acts in many different styles of dance and I asked her if she could dance Latin and ballroom and she told me hell no because even though she's a phenomenal dancer in her own right she wouldn't be able to grasp that style of dancing and all the little things you have to nail to do it, so yes Ashley had dance experience and if this competition was called strictly come dancing in a girl band I'd understand everyone's points but it's not as she's just as much of a learner than everyone else and while I'm on it Faye had dance experience, I don't remember hearing anyone bash her
Ever since her street commercial routine moved me to tears I knew she was going to win it. She has this amazing emotion that she puts into all her dances and tonight she had a bad night but the public pulled through. Absolutely deserving winner ❤️.

I’d like to just make a quick announcement that This Morning book couples for after strictly based on betting odds and Stacey and Kevin had the highest odds heading into the final so using the interview booking to prove that the final was rigged is frankly ridiculous.
I couldn't decide who I thought would win, personally I liked Joe and Ashley the best as well as Stacey's Paso and Faye's Couple's Choice dance. They were all brilliant! I hope nobody starts arguing that the show is rigged or start taking digs at Stacey because they wanted Joe to win. They've all worked so so hard throughout all of this and all deserved to lift that trophy tonight. Just be happy that your favourite made it so far into the show and that they all pulled out their best dances and gave their all to 3 very complicated routines each! Loved the show this year!

People seem to forget that this is a dancing competition, Stacey was by far the best and made the most progress in her journey so can all the stupid 12 year old Joe fan girls stop complaining!

If the winner should be picked due to their dance techniques and consistency, then the winner should have been Faye or Ashley. Stacey and Joe grew as the competition went on but Ashley and Faye set a high standard from Day one and were able to maintain it throughout the series (no mean feat). This should not be about who has the largest fan club but who has the strongest and most consistent dance technique. It is a dance competition after all. Anything short of this totally defeats the purpose of the show. Personally, wasn't too happy with Stacey winning but I could accommodate it because I saw her growth and hard work. Audiences need to be more objective when voting so that the most deserving person wins!
This is a hugely, entertaining show in every way..and what I have just said speaks volumes! Congratulations to Stacey and Kevin, their success is well deserved.

To those who think it's rigged because Joe has a lot of fans, keep in mind that this is one of the biggest shows in the UK, there is a huge amount of votes and the audience aren't necessarily the same as Joe's audience so even if he got a million fan votes there would be a lot more normal votes and since Stacey was clearly a better dancer they were more likely to go to her. As a Joe fan he would be ashamed at how angry and immature many of you are being in the comment section.
