This video was wonderful! Thank you for taking the time to put it together. Please video some more kiln openings. I learned a lot about glazes from you a while back... you were my inspiration for sharing my glaze results. Regards, Janice
@janicethepotter Hi Janice, and thanks for the kind words. Just in the process of making right now to fill up a bisque. Will try and get some more kiln openings up. got a new camera and have to learn all over again! Sue.
@TheSignGuy32 Thanks for watching! The kiln is a 'Paragon home artist kiln'. Its great because it runs right off a 120 V household outlet. Good luck! Sue.
@TheSignGuy32 I make the terra Sigilata. I mix 1 3/4 gallons water, 1/2 tablespoon soda ash (could substitute sodium silicate) and 4 1/2 lbs Ball clay. Mix together well. let sit over night. siphon off water at the top and discard . siphon off middle layer and save (this is your terra sig) discard bottom layer. you can also google it and find a ton of recipes. I just happend to have these ingredients, and it has worked well for me.
Great great video thank you

Love your work. Have you ever tried Palomino or a white tail? Does it still make the same marks?
