It is just amazing. Brilliant how Todd navigated through overwhelming queries “give me this, I need that...” . It is really about to have a backbone and clear mind, because in the corporate jungles it is truly a ‘live or die’ dilemma. I personally do the same, and often a boomerang of “the right focus” punching me in my face. But point is that I have the right and important things done which can’t be questioned or challenged and drives a performance forward, thought it compromises office politics.
I just had an interview for a sales ops role recently. I completely bombed it. I just froze up. The answers I gave i felt were weak. I just had a bad day. One question that was asked was what type of reporting and analytics do you think is the most helpful for improving the sales organization. My answer was attrition, churn, close rate. And i didnt really expound on that. I know, pathetic. Can you give me an example of a better way to answer that?
What a great show and guest, a show from 5 years ago and this is not gonna change, Sales are the fuel for business. Thanks from the future!
