Our new video is online! On our last trip, we found 14 pieces of dumped equipment, including Karabiner 98 rifles, the iconic StG44, a Gewehr 43 and much more. Watch it here ruclips.net/video/aQnWXhGoIEg/видео.html
chicken man ed Brown There's no swamp nearby that we know of. It's true that many equipment pieces were dumped in water, also swamps. Thanks for watching!
Adriel Vichi There are always risks involved. We minimize them in any way we can. We don't dig up grenades for example, as soon as it's clear we've found something dangerous, we simply stop digging. In general we don't find many explosives (luckily), like on the trip this video is about, we found none at all.
Dear viewers, recently we received several offers from different people to buy the video material we shot on our trips, as well as information about our finds and locations, to be used in films or documentaries (mostly about the international market in military objects). We've even been asked to take a film crew with us on one of the trips. We have declined all these offers, because a) we don't do this for money and b) since we have never sold a thing we have found (and never will) we do not want to help making a video about the relic market. If there's one stereotype we don't want to support, it's that of the the amateur digger who sells his finds to the highest bidder. We explicitly do not give permission to use the video material of our finds without our consent. Thanks for your understanding.
As a relic hunter for over 30 years in Virginia, I share the same sentiments. Not one artifact that I have dug have I ever sold ..that's not why we do this.
Steve Pittman We completely agree, unfortunately a lot of people seem to think it is exactly why we do this. You don't want to know how many people send us messages about buying stuff.. It would've been a lot better if there wasn't a market at all if you ask me.
Sorry about my comment, but i would defenitely buying something like this, if i couldn't get one. If i found like a mp40 could i take it to another country?
Outstanding finds gentlemen I hope you do everything in your power to preserve these tools so the next generation can further respect those who made sacrifices 80 years before those children had a heartbeat. Keep up the good work guys you are making a difference with each find.
My old man fought in the second wave of the Normandy Campaign (British) & I distinctly remember, as a kid, looking on top of his wardrobe & finding s box with war memorabilia in it, awards & medals etc + a pristine Lugar pistol! God knows what happened to it as the whole shebang disappeared no long after but I imagine he picked it up as they went through France. Funnily enough he was in the same regiment as Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones dad!
Thanks for sharing that with the world, My old man worked as the lowest radio man on the Queen Mary (Canada), He told me that he was his most scared when he had to replace a light bulb on a radio tower in heavy seas. Also, there is one or two brief screenshots of his work station in the movie "The Poseidon Adventure".
Yo! nomad! My very own spiritual advisor! - Interesting about the gun.... I have been having another debate about gun use in America, maybe check through my profile history for your take on that?
Yeah, if they're not going to sell them, restoring them to their former glory and display it in museums is going to be awesome. These relics deserve much better life in the dirt
I congratulate you for not selling your finds. This was total war. Human life meant nothing and what you are finding leaves one thing clear . This war was even more brutal and bloody than history wants to acknowledge. The carnage was beyond imagination
That would be a dream come true to find all the WWII treasures y’all find. I’m a really big WWll (I don’t really like the word “fan”) but, I really love that era in history..
I actually want to do this and I live in the USA, i told my friend and he said it looks boring and waste of money. BLAH, this is WHAT I want to do. Everyone has their own interests. :)

+LAnoire2050 We don't 'mess' with finds. Before digging up something, we identify the object to make sure it is not some piece of ammunition or other kind of explosive. If it is the case, we simply stop, write down the location and continue walking. In this video, we were able to identify the finds before digging them up and showing them to the camera. Thanks for the concern.
Magazine in Spanish it’s “cargador” but those are the little ones like for mp40 if you mean a big one it’s called “tambor” and it also means drum in Spanish.
"Do you need The real scull of the SSman? Together with his helmet? They have the most beautiful round holes in their upper part of the forehead from the machine gun. Their rear parts are not that good, but you can do something with it. Very useful thing! Whats your price?"
About the telescope. The guy's worried about the glass getting scratched, and it's covered in mud, and 70+ years old. And not to mention, if you do manage to restore it, wtf would you use it for?
Nobody's restoring anything. It would be a shame to damage something like that, even though it's already 'useless'. It's about the historical value. Either you can relate to that or you don't. Thanks for wathing.
+EQOAnostalgia Even then, it wouldn't work. While you need to get all the rust off, the dimensions would change. No matter how many spare parts you would get, you couldn't make these guns work.
+46FreddieMercury91 It's a nice thought, but no. At least not for this one, where it's pretty rusted. However, I have seen videos of rare, special circumstances where rifles, helmets, and even uniforms come out of the ground nearly intact because of the conditions of where they were buried. Usually happens in peat bogs or swamps where very little oxygen is able to reach the object, so it nearly as rotted or rusted.
Possibly because the Germans used these weapons, or because they belonged to the Soviet forces who engaged them here. After a battle a lot of equipment was left behind usually. We will never know for sure. Thanks for watching.
