Wow, this guy is right on the money, very heartfelt story from a good looking English tennis coach. He really does come across very well, and looking at the short video appears to have the cake and eat it!! Keep up the good work son. Miss you xx dad
I arrived here in 1978 - "for 3 years" - and it is refreshing to hear these, still similar, impressions forty five years later.
Very refreshing to have someone "different" - a sports Coach ! 👍😁
What a beautiful story.. thanks!
Great! Welcome to Sg & sinking in roots here. Good to see that u have integrated well into Sg culture & appreciating it.
Love your countryside ,cottages .
Love this capsulating video, genuine, humbling and sincere.....a true love story too.
Heartening to see your Sport Singapore games champion plaque. Do play in the 2024 Pesta Sukan tennis games
Naise! Welcome to SG!
Good story👍 Sam observations are pretty spot on.
I like Sam.... the one person who really appreciated Singapore. Thank you for staying. Wish one day.. I can meet u on the street n buy u a drinks. Cheers
As a Singaporean, I hate waiting behind a queue while the service staff chat unnecessarily with someone. Especially when I am in a hurry.
Welcome to Singapore mate! straight to the point, how much? Hahaha😂😂👍
I'd love to live in rural countryside where everything's calmer. Perspective, I guess
Did he really just said aiyo??? Hehehe! 😄
🙂🙂👍👍❤❤
Singapore is very safe, clean and efficient. World class transport
❤❤❤
U are very good looking and hope u can teach son tennis.
Orchard? Need bag? Thats our stagnant routine lifestyle here,,typically almost all heartlanders ..minding own business
0:07 wouldn't Mandarin speakers in Singapore generally understand that "rou gu cha" refers to bak kut teh, even if the Mandarin term is not used often? Not sure what his wife is on about, unless she doesn't speak Mandarin (which seems unlikely).
Ya but sounds very “formal”. Maybe some elders are not used to it, especially the dialect speaking ones. 🤷🏽♂️
@@impopquizTrue -- but Sam's wife doesn't seem to be a dialect-speaking old person 😅 so for her to say "what the heck is rou gu cha?" (according to Sam's account) doesn't make sense, unless her Mandarin is non-existent.
You haven't met those people who are really bad at Mandarin? It's not even that uncommon.
@@Joe-gf6vn I am one of those people, and even I know what "rou gu cha" is. I guess what I meant to say is: it's fine for Sam's wife to not know what "rou gu cha" means, but it's not exactly true that "no one says rou gu cha" in Singapore.
🤣 while refreshing the Calculus, the general concept of limit. Hence, cut the lengthy unnecessary crap, we are after all, the finite creature with limit of money and 24 hours. 😂 Go where? need bag? da bao?
SG is generally safe but our expensive bike got stolen and it was never found 🤭
Low crimes doesn’t mean no crimes 😅
You should make a police report. There are CCTV and I am sure the thief will be caught
