Great work on the engine. That’s the exact catch can I want but having trouble justifying the extra cost for color and fittings
dasllamas thanks brother, I agree on the added cost, it's just something I thought would clean it up. I don't remember how much it cost extra, but they may not be worth it...hose clamps could be a cheaper option.

Good video! The red color is a little off from redline red, but should still look good under my hood. Z-bracket is a must for me.
392Life thank you sir, the anodized red is a shade of two darker than the red line, but I think it goes nicely together. My vinyl decals are in the redline red as well.
Do you need the brass fittings or no cause I found the same one on amazon but in black and I notice it dosent come with those gold brass fittings do you need to go to a local hardware store and get them or do they not really matter in the installation procees?
They connect the hose to the catch can, so unless the catch can has them built in, they'll be needed also to connect the hose to the engine

I don't have that front stud on my engine. Do you know what size it is
So . J.s for anyone looking at this . Not to be a dick but you can get the exact same kit from Amazon or ebay for under 50$ . Also using the barbs is a joke. They leak pretty bad . Yea the red ends look cool but they leak . If you have the full cover the z bracket is useless. You have no choice but to use the water pump bolt . You also have to cut the cover so the lines clear . There is literally a line to follow on the cover. 3rd do yourself a favor and go to autozone buy 1/2' id heatercore hose and s.s clamps. If you mount to the w.p bolt the lines that come with it are to short. They are also hard as hell and requires you to use a hammer to get it over the barbs . Then the barbs are loose and leak on the factory 90° . So go ro ebay buy just the can and mount kit without the z bracket 30$ then go to autozone buy the hose and clamps 10$ ish . Easier to install and guaranteed it wont leak .

Same set up as mine on my Challenger, the large 5.7 cover just needs some minor cutting and sanding, mine looks factory

The catch can is on the passenger side while the breather filter comes out from the driver's side

Right over the pin at 2:15 , I have a solid bar/rod directly above it coming out of the intake manifold on my 2007. I don’t see how I’d be able to install. Any ideas?
Yes, there are the 2 different mounting points depending on your engine.

I have the 345 as well. Ordered the same catch can w/bracket. I have a mopar CAI installed. Can I use either mounting option or am I stuck with the z bracket with no cover?
I know there's the issue of that large engine cover that has to be removed with the catch can. I just posted a video with the half covers installed

Where did you get the breather cap and plug so you could get rid of that secondary crankcase vent hose that goes into the intake? I've been wanting to get rid of that hose off my Charger and really like the setup you have. I looked through your other videos and didn't see one covering that part.
Mike Marshall I got the breather filter and rubber cap off of either eBay or Amazon. I had to buy a variety pack with different sizes for the black plug because I wasn't sure what size would fit.

PredatorDaytona345 they should be a little snug, but not too loose or too tight
Ryan, have a question for you. At 8:00 in the video it's obvious your half covers are not fully seated on the two little peg things. Are you running them this way? I'm asking because the bottom of my catch can is barely making contact with the bottom of the passenger side half cover. My half covers are fully seated on the pegs so this could be the reason. Unlike yours in this video, the end on the short hose is completely obscured by the cover on mine. It took me and a buddy several hours of cutting, grinding and fitting to get them to fit properly on the pegs. More so on the driver side because we made the cut to make room for the sensor or whatever that thing is. They turned out beautiful but it took a lot of work. My solution is to add a washer to the bracket where it attaches to the engine block. That should be just enough for the bottom of the can to clear the cover. I was just curious if you had this issue.
Hammer thanks for the info, yes it doesn't sit flush as these are designed for the 392 set up, but I actually removed the sensor off the bracket and secured it lower, allowing me to not have to cut the drivers side cover without any issues.
The catch can looks amazing, have you been able to filter out any oil yet with it... Also any feedback on the Corsa CAI - I’ve seen one review on it and notice that you still get the sound out of the enclosed box but is there any increased performance or throttle response?

What's the difference of plugging up you're intake and adding a small filter ? I'm kinda new at owning a 5.7 still learning love the video by the way
Filter just adds for more air flow and it looks more high performance, but not a huge actual difference

Items an 18mm crank case breather filter, it replaces the hose the usually runs into the air box

I got them off after some prying with a flathead. Some rubber is still on the plastic on the inlet side like it was glued and I ripped it off lol

I just purchased my car and that popped up and I noticed where u added the small filter on the black hose mines isn’t connected to anything
Rated PG used hose clamps because he thought the fittings were too loose. Are you satisfied the hoses are not coming loose? They looked pretty loose to me. I will be installing the same catch can, Z bracket and hose ends when my car finally arrives.
Hammer I am satisfied with the fitment of the hoses. The clamps would be a great precaution, but I'm not worried about the hoses coming off.
Good to know. I was the one that recommended some 3M tape under the oil cap cover. Billet Tech actually recommends clear silicone adhesive. I looked at my cover this morning and the tape may not allow the cap to fully seat properly. I may try both and see which one works the best.
Hammer thanks man, I couldn't remember who it was. That's a great idea to discourage theft. You're right, the tape would be a little too thick, silicone might be a better option.
Last question. I have the half covers to put on as well. Where did you get the plug for the air box? Is there are particular size for that hole?

For sure, it's probably more important now that your engine has slightly higher miles as it prolongs the life of your engine

I've used a blower to remove the dust, then gave it a nice wipe down with a wet cloth...that's it!

Would the Z bracket fit with the stock air box silencer?
Anthony Allegretti it will fit as the z bracket mounts under the engine cover on the passenger side of the engine
Rydin N Style what I mean is that stupid silencer that Dodge has on the left side is there enough room to put the oil catch can?
What I would do is contact billet tech at 561-582-6171 and confirm with them. I wouldn't want to provide wrong info. The z bracket is an extra cost, but a good just in case to have. There are a couple of different mounting options

Update. Discovered a potential flaw. The catch can and hoses dont mount up flush leaving plenty of room for oil to blow right by. Discovered this on my old catch can and my new 1. Its a noticeable gap that those fittings may be hiding. Ive let billettech know of this as well.
