Nice to see you yanking on wrenches without tears in the eyes. Glad to see your back is much better.
It's so much better! Thanks buddy.
Matt, I'm from México City, thanks a lot, with your video I decided to buy koni yellows for mi fox gt 85. The drive is incredible.
Yes fam!✊🏼
💯
Nope...nope... nope 😂🤣😂🤣. Hey GearHead704 fans, those shocks are amazing. Matt took me for a ride and they rode smooth. Thanks for the ride Matt.
LOL, yeah a lot of nopes! Hah. Thanks for going for a ride Jim. It was such a fun evening even if where we all ended up was very loud LOL
@@GearHead704 yup, great night.
I love that you and Tiff don't try to pretend to be an all knowing guru. Humility can be hard to find on RUclips and in the car community.
Thanks man, we just try to be real with things. I know there are faster cars and better channels, but I'm just having fun with how I'm doing things.
Awesome video !!
Thank you sir!
Definitely gonna have to look into that upgrade. What a beautiful car & comfortable ride!
So glad you and your son got to ride in it.
Nope nope nope nope almost nope 🤣😂🤣
Thats cool just in time for the big drives!
LOL, I had to keep that part in, it was just too funny!
@@GearHead704 yes it was! Lol
"noooope... noooope... noooope" 😂
I'm glad you put the yellow Koni's in...they're a great upgrade. I had the original, 33 year old (at the time) Motorctaft dampers on mine. Was a HUGE upgrade 🤣
Man those nopes were so so good! LOL. I love the Koni's! 3 years, hah hah yes I bet that was HUGE
7:25 lol my pops taught me this trick and I would do the same thing trying to line it up and he would just laugh
LOL, good stuff!
Those shocks definitely ride smooth! 👍👍
Hah hah, you would know from the parade lap! Wish I could've taken you on a longer ride, maybe next time.
Those struts and shocks will certainly make a huge difference! Enjoy the ride and hope the back is ok✊🏼🏁
Thanks Paul, back is doing great! The ride is amazing as well.
@@GearHead704 Good to hear👊🏼
I love your videos with fox resto. I’d love to see a video of fixing loose steering columns; mainly the upper column bearing. Not much info online. I know you and Matt #2 will have the correct fix for tilt column issue. Keep up the great work
Thanks, we are hoping to get back more into the How To videos soon.
7:16 was hilarious!!
I do that all the time! 🔧🔧
LOL, that was just too good I had to leave it in
Oh man stepping up the game!
Hah hah, it's all Harris's fault! LOL
I’m about 12 videos behind lol!! Catching up 😁
LOL thanks and welcome back!
Good info great video. nice suspension upgrades
Thanks! Kevin, I had a couple people ask about you at Ford Takeover 👍
Great job!!
Hey Eiseo! Thanks man.
Putting in that work !
DV! Missed you at FTO buddy.
Matt, I have the Koni yellows on my '05 Acura RSX Type-S. They are great! I'm actually in the middle of upgrading front and back to FF2's. Function and Form. It's great how Koni is so versatile though.
Oh that's way cool! I absolutely love these Koni's. My ride has been stellar.
My man Matt & Harris aka Lue Creative in the same video. 👊🏻
Lot more of the legend of Harris Lue coming to the videos soon!
always use a socket if you can. with a breaker bar works and doesn't muck up the nut
Good point
Nice! The sway bar also is a safety for the A-arms (in conjunction with a jackstand/jack). I did a KYB AGX strut install vid a few months ago on my 89 (hope you don't mind me saying). Keep up the good work!
Don't mind at all, thanks for the input buddy.
@@GearHead704 You are welcome - glad to add to the community
I swapped my factory struts to kyb and I’m interested in getting the Koni shocks for the rear. I would like to get your honest opinion on how they handle on take offs and bumps. Can’t wait for the next video.
I'll have a video coming related to that, which I think you'll like.
Man i am telling you that car would be so nice with a white cover with the top down. I am going to bring one when I go to a another event you are at and you can put it on and take a pic see if ya like it. The black looks good to of course but in my mind that white is gonna make it pop. I am putting the same yellow koni on one of my cars seen a few at takeover and asked the owners about them and didn't get a single negative review. Did you have this done before takeover??
I did have the Koni's on before Ford Takeover and they are amazing! Yeah, a lot of people recommend the white top to me LOL
Nice!!!
Thanks Frank!
@@GearHead704 your videos are awesome! Wish I could have been in Tennessee this weekend. Hershey next weekend! Got too much stuff going on right now!!
@@frank3stangs would've been great to see you Frank. Hopefully you can bring 2 or more of your stands to Foxtoberfest
Bro! You need to get them power coated to match the car!
Oh that would look sweet for sure!
wicked ...i wanna know how the ride feels on those after you run it hard a few times ....
Hey Shane! It's really amazing. I'll have a video coming up soon on it.
Funny you should mention doc brown, Did you know the Ford attempted to get the time machine to be a mustang in the preproduction of back to the future?
Harris told me that story and I think that's why he suggested Doc Fox LOL
What website did you buy your white headlight side markers at?
I bout them in 2006 and they are no longer for sale anywhere as far as I know.
I give it to ya. I still have my stock shocks but tubular k member I'll rematch when time comes thanks for fox life .
Re watch
Thanks man, these Koni's are great!
No bump steer kit?
No, but I do have rack limiters
Would you ever sell taheel? Have you ever considered putting back the cheese graters 😉😉
I doubt I'd ever sell it, but never say never. Graters? 🤔 If I had a Carolina blue set maybe, just maybe
Gearhead!! You and Matt have lifts, air tools, jacks etc and you guys don’t have one dang orbital for the wifey to use?? 😂
Or a 24" breaker bar?
Believe it or not we gave her the orbital sander but on the roof it bounced off so much it was basically useless.
That we need bad
I can't break the retainer nut ... I've tried everything
Oh man that sucks, sorry to hear that. I can't say i've ran into that before unfortunately.
Hey Matt spending a lot of money on Tarheel fox that’s the way it should be by the way will you be attending chocolate Fox
LOL, I always do it seems! Definitely going to Chocolate Fox.
I think you are using old data, I just purchased rear yellow and you can't adjust them with the white knob, you have to poke through two little holes that are no on the top disc of the shock and knock down an internal rubber topper, once it falls down you have to pull up the shock by hand to see and remove the stopper, then you have to press down all the way to engage the cam to adjust as usual. Don't know why they made it more complicated and you can't do it on the fly, obviously it has to be done with the shock removed from the car.
Interesting, definitely not what my instructions said.
Yellow one are good the orange ones a junk!
I love my yellows
Your late. But guess what i am?
LOL, I scheduled this one in Tennesee so maybe that's why? Anyway congrats again! hah
