Thankyou so much .I was doing many things wrong .what I learnt was burn tool for shadow , dodge tool for light and layer via copy and how to give shadow to staircase steps.

one thing i didnt get is that when i overlay my .png furniture file , the under portion for plan is visible ! its kind of looks transparent though the opaqueness is 100 %can you please help with that.
