As en ex resident of Islington North I can confirm it is a beautiful area of London, and you can feel the care and community of the area everywhere you go. The parks are lovely, and the history of the area has been preserved even after an element of gentrification in the area. The working class is still thriving and active in Islington North and it's undeniable that Jeremy Corbyn has been key in keeping the area for the people.
I am a constituent, and I will be voting for him. It won't be easy, but I'm hoping our community can overpower the colossal weight of the centrist establishment.

Apart from the stunning ICJ ruling today, news of JC's plan to run as an independent in the GE is fantastic news. If I lived in Islington North, I'd vote for him but alas, I don't. I only hope that someone with the same stance on Palestine decides to run in my own constituency.
Starmer is a Tory, just like Blair. I've voted Labour for more than 15 years but I won't be voting for anyone at this election
