You the man Rama! I've had my TRB-605 a few years now......and though it is AN OUTSTANDING piece of alder, I've never been overly impressed with the preamp in it. I've tried lots of strings, adjusting pickup height but it still just comes across flat with that 9v. It sounds better passive IMO. I'm Fender Camp all day. Elite series 5 does it all for me, I been eyeballing a Lakland though....lol Rama, I've been watching you for YEARS and You almost single handedly helped me learn Happy Feelings for a show, a couple years ago, and you continue to improve and help me do the same. So thank you!!! Dont ever stop dude. You're energy is INCREDIBLE! TBZL Charlotte NC

I just brought a 305, man!!! I've been loving fender my whole life. For low price bass it worth a million. I'm extremely surprised how that bass sound good and balanced, it s so versatile as well.
The Yamaha has much more clarity. I picked up a Sire M7 cause I thought I would love it, but I returned it shortly after. Just didn't like the tone. Overall it was very muddy.
Hi Rama, I see you have the switch set to passive on the Sire M2, on my Sire M3 the switch has to be up for active mode. Maybe you meant to play passively.
Thanks for your comparison videos, really appreciate it. But wouldn’t a M5 or M7 be a better comparison to TRB 605? I mean, the M2 is way below this Yamaha in price
@@RamaNatan thanks for your reply. Hopefully you can tell us one more thing: how about playability of the Yamaha TRBX series vs Sire M series in terms of 5 strings? AFAIK, their necks have different profiles and length. Thank you ❤️

I certainly without hesitation the brown/wood color, it sounds more open, more clarity, clear n rich.
ah the 605
Ahhh man... love the sound for sure. You also play so rich n on point. Wow... love that bass.
Thanks man, which one you love?
The Yamaha has a brighter, more pleasant sound, more up-front than the Sire...your skills are top-notch as always, Rama!
Yeah 605 has a nice rich sound thanks man

That's why I love 305 among my more expensive bass, coz it's too amazing considering the price.
I own a Yamaha TRBX 305 and this Sire M2 : )♥
Which one do you prefer overall?
Thanks, I like the sire better, it has a more balanced and dense tone across all the strings... I like old Yamaha basses like BBG series

Welcome! good idea, this series proves that M2 can be an economical option

bang rekomendasi bass range 6 sd 12 jt, dr playbility, sound, dan bs masuk banyak genre bass apa y?
Sire Yamaha bagus kok
@@RamaNatan tq om, sy beli V5 jdny
King of bass.....
i think it's obviously the Sire that sounded better.. Sadly, Yamaha hasn't been producing good bass since after around 2010.
being cheaper and more preamp flexibility Sire M2 is favorable
