Respect" REVS and also COST ... They took Graffiti to another level...They were also up on the Subways in the 80s not only on the streets...Both Artists have their Graff Fame.
I was a teen in the 90s and i remember seeing Cost and Revs across from BTS among other places including train tunnels and stickers everywhere including every movie filmed in nyc it seems. What a time.
A letter to the king. hope it hits him. I grew up during the same time, seeing the same pieces. I got to meet some big players in the scene over the years but never even came close to Revs. Good luck.
Man, I’ve long believed that Jack was the most genuine, authentic form of historian. A graff anthropologist, if you will. Graffiti in its entirety owes you a debt of gratitude for your tireless efforts, done purely for the love of the game.

Explained how? It’s pretty straightforward, and he’s spoken about it before. Just a diary on the walls of the tunnels. Tried to hit ever stretch with one but wasn’t able to get a handful. The end.
There was an interview Espo did like a year ago saying REVS had some stuff in the works that he couldnt talk about so you might have asked for this at the perfect time man.
learned a lot with revs, im from Brazil, but see a lot of revs shit on 12oz forum back in 2005, this shit changed my life, hope u find revs and make an awesome documentary!
Not a chance Revs would/should settle for anything less than a Netflix level production. His legacy is worth something only a professional team of specialists can execute.
A Netflix production could also royally fuck it up and lose the spirit of the thing. A good graffiti doc needs good interviews, flicks, and footage. Let’s not overthink it.

Those stories in the tunnel up the R track from WTC back in 92 on the way to work made my day.
We really need that underground letter series explained

The metalwork business is just 🔥
I visited New York in the early 90s and remember how Revs and Cost had absolutely torn Manhattan to shreds. Absolute legends.
Heart felt letter there...I hope you get to link with revs and do your work. ✌️

Netflix is out of touch w culture and most likely puts lbgtq content before art or graffiti
A Netflix production could also royally fuck it up and lose the spirit of the thing. A good graffiti doc needs good interviews, flicks, and footage. Let’s not overthink it.

Revs and Cost. 2 of the best, most influential, unique and hardest hitting writers. Hope the project works out!..

Not a chance he’s agreeing to this.
I know Revs personally. He quit graff years ago and took up a career as a male exotic dancer. He now goes by the stage name Richard Kielbasa.
If you knew revs personally I sure hope you didn’t just Dox him like that 💀
