my sister was adopted by a different family than me because the family didn’t want two kids it was only me or my sister so I told them to just take my sister instead of me. I hope she does remember me when she grow up, I hope someone will tell her u had a older sister who would give u anything and loved u more than anyone in this cruel world. And your parents wouldn’t have left if they never where drunk at night while driving. Your older sister is very happy that u survived and she can’t wait to see your face again in the future.

I lost my boyfriend this year, just 1 month ago. I came to listen to this song once again and it became painful, i thought this was a sweet song until then. Lost my grandma on April 27, 2020. My cousin who was in Cavite made a video in memory of our grandma and used this version of "Remember Me" because she can't be home here in Davao due to this health crisis. It's dia de lose muertos, and I just finished watching Coco. It reminded me a lot about my grandma who died last year in the place she was born and raised, Cambodia. I know I'm not Hispanic or anything, but the movie really moved me. I love her so much, she cared so much about all of us.

We lost our granma on the 16th of this month and this movie reminded us of her. She was left paralyzed 4 years ago after a stroke and passed away this month.. we played this song at her funeral a few days ago. It was a beautiful send off. Beautiful voice and cover 🙏🌹

i have a little brother and we're living apart with each of our parents (not divorced though, my dad is working away from home). we always sing this song together every night on video call because the night before they left, Coco was on air on a channel and he watched it for the first time. I had him in my arms as i explained to him the story and when it came to Mama Coco singing this song, I cried because no matter how many times I watch it, it makes my throat go dry and hurt like it wouldn't go away unless i cried. my little brother wiped my tears, completely puzzled why i was crying.
