I think that would have been wonderful and these guests would have explained the different dishes while pronouncing them properly. It would have been very educational for all your subscribers - Indians, Bangladeshi, Pakistanis, Sri Lankans, etc .

But let me correct u About North Indian cuisine - North Indian platter has lots of other things also. Its not about Nov veg. North Indian Veg thali should have ordered 😊. It has, Daal, chawal, Tandoori/ lachcha paratha/butter roti/ Puro , mix veg sabzi, paneer (50+ varities hoti he Paneer ki nahi 😂). Aachar, papad, salad n lot more 😋😋. Likhte-2 muh me pani aa gaya.
N yes, any sweet item they add like, Gulab jamun / moti chur laddo/ Ras malai/ Halwa/ any Bengali sweet etc.

And let me tell the white round pan cakes are idli and it is serverd with coconut chutney which is in cream colour and also can be eaten with sambar which is sweet and sour. The donut shaped is called Vada and the other curry was with uthappam. Being an Indian Muslim - I’m totally in love with South Indian food - idli Wada sambhar chutney is my everyday breakfast and when I was pregnant I ate 6 idlis and 6 Wada everyday till I delivered my baby. He looked like idli Wada to me . But jokes apart I still can’t get over my love for South Indian food . If you ever visit India try to have these street food vendors especially Anna’s 💖 they’re the best and authentic in taste .

Shan Tandoori Masala makes the Chicken this Red. I dont roast it or put oil in it. Just Yoghurt and Masala, Marinate and Cook it on low heat for sometime and then dry the water. Put coal to enhance the taste. So a very healthy food option.

The curry type is called Sambar, which is basically like khatti Dal soup. You soak the dosa, wada, idli in Sambar and chutney and eat it.
