Story line:
" Richard walked for a long time along the snow-covered forest paths. Sometimes it seemed to him that he went the wrong way and got lost. But after 10 minutes of walking, he still came to a clearing, which was his destination. Somewhere around here there must be a hut in which he is to meet his beloved girlfriend Medellin. One month earlier, Richard was sent on an expedition to the north. He was a scientist whose task was to observe the rare wild animals of the area. Richard did not have a vacation, and the expedition was supposed to end only in half a year. His beloved Medellin, could not be without Richard for such a long time, and decided that every month she would go to him for a few days. To do this, she found and rented a small wooden hut, which was located near the village where Richard's scientific base was located. She also took with her their beloved dog Bailey, who was also very happy about the trip, and was looking forward to meeting his owner. It was a beautiful mountainous area, the nature here was amazing. There was a forest around, near it there was a small lake and a clearing. In the middle of the clearing, Richard saw a small wooden house that looked more like a hut. Outside, half of the house and the roof were heavily covered with snow, so it was not immediately possible to see him. And so, approaching the door, Richard knocked, after a couple of minutes the door was opened to him by Medellin. They were very happy to see each other after such a long separation. Their little vacation lasted 3 days, during which time they realized even more how much they love each other. Every day spent in this cozy little house in the middle of a harsh winter was unique, and once again made Richard and Medellin understand the meaning of the word Happiness. "

This is my fave for going to sleep. I grew up in a cabin in the woods. The forest was my playground. During snow storms I would be traipsing around until I got thoroughly cold and wet. Then I would go home and warm up in front of the fire place and watch the flames snap and crack. Dad knew how to make a good fire. He made a good fire in the cast iron stove in the dining room too. During snow storms, Mama would make hot chocolate and soup. Between that and listening to the crackling of the fires going on, it made you feel content. That all was right with the world.

Как бы мне хотелось хоть на денек оказаться в такой уютной хижине с моим котиком мурлыкающим на подушке, рядом ворон спит на жердочке, всем тепло и уютно. Зимой слушать вьюгу за окном и смотреть в окошки на падающий снег. Летом слушать шум дождя и грозу, этого так не хватает в городской суетной жизни.

this makes me feel so at home, like a place of comfort. i grew up in a cabin in the woods, my dad made me a whole playground in the forest-y parts of our property, my mom would make the tastiest butter chicken and hot chocolate in the world. we lived up in Yukon, Canada, so the icy sounds of snow and the fireplace really felt comforting. i haven’t felt this at home for 10 years. we moved away from Yukon in 10 years ago, when i was just 8. i remember it so vividly though, during the day my mom and i would go skiing while my dad built stuff for his job. the trees were always covered in snow and a white coat, the sky was usually grey but sunny on good days, my cabin had 2 stories with 2 bedrooms, but i would sleep with my parents because it got so cold during the night. i was an only child until we moved away, my parents decided if they wanted to have another baby they wouldn’t want to have a newborn around such a cold area (i was born in Ontario and lived there until i was 2) so when we moved, i missed the soothing nighttime sounds and had trouble sleeping. the first week of having moved felt like the worst week of my life. but once i got settled i really enjoyed it there. we still visit Yukon sometimes but i will always miss my childhood home. ❤❤

So relatable. When I was a kid my mom would teach me to write my name on the ice on the inside of my bedroom windows. Then later she taught me to write it in mirror image so you could read it from the outside! Later I got a different room which had a vent pipe that would go outside and you could really hear the wind howling through the trees then which was very soothing. (Except if you had to get up at 6am to go to school the next day ...)

My favorite part is that the wood in the fireplace is not overly sappy. The cracks and pops in the fire are softer and occur less often than in some other videos, and I can turn up the speakers to appreciate the rich sounds of the storm outside, with the gentler sounds of the fireplace accentuating the piece, rather than competing with it and keeping me awake. ❄👍🔥

I cannot adequately express how calming this is for me... I do anything to distract myself from the chronic pain a medical injury has left me with. Nights are especially tough: I often wake myself up crying with tears already running down my face. So I try to find sounds to block that out best I can. And videos like this with such carefully crafted nature sounds & cozy ambiances really are soothing.
So THANK YOU for all the work out into this!!

Hi Melinda, I too lived with chronic pain for years. I could not work. Nights were long and lonely because everyone was asleep and my mind raced and spiraled. Finally, my pain subsided and only once in a while do I have bad pain as I did then. There is no cure for my condition and I know I am blessed to be able to sleep through the nights and not be in pain anymore. So don't give up hope, please. I never thought I would get better, but I did. In my prayers at night I always pray for people who lie in their bed at night a d whether in physical or emotional pain, that they feel people like me thinking of them and praying for them.
Try putting on some headphones and listen to Dr. Jeffrey Thompson. That helped me with my pain. He creates new age type music which has delta waves (brain waves that lull us to sleep) interwoven in the music. It really relaxed me and put me to sleep. He has a channel here on RUclips so you can listen to his music anytime. 💕

To know that someone understands what it is like to suffer thru day after day & night after night of unbearable pain makes me feel not so alone. The bleak darkness of night that you described is EXACTLY how I feel: it is like being ravaged by some slow, sharp-fanged creature while trying to not scream or let out even one single moan that might wake your sleeping family. So we weep as quietly as we can, struggling with the last bit of self-control left. Yet, even then, sometimes a sob or two escapes.

And thank you for just taking the time to say a kind word, offer encouragement and inspire hope that a day may really come when this pain is far behind me. It has been 7 1/2 long years....and it seems as if I can't even remember what it's like to feel "normal" or even laugh again. @@mendagy I am fairly private with my faith but I will say that I did a lot of praying. I had surgeries, meds, and nothing helped. I had no hope left. Then I watched "The Notebook" and the character of older Noah went to see his doctor who said they had done everything they can. Noah replied that science only goes so far, then comes God. When my last surgery (a permanent TENS implant) failed, I was leaving from having the stitches taken out. I was crying in the elevator. I FELT a voice say to me, "this is NOT the end. I have something better in mind."
The TENS implant would have required me to sit on a map every night to recharge.
Over a few months, I began to feel better. A year later I took one pill a day instead of 12. I had been taking Percocet every day. I have not needed it since. I did not have to go to the bathroom every 30 minutes. I had my life back!
As I said, my condition (Interstitial Cystitis) has no cure. But I rarely have those symptoms anymore. I know it is my faith that healed me. To show God my appreciation, I began to volunteer at my local hospital. I did this because I wanted to give encouragement and hope to others who we're in the position that I was once in period and you know what? It was such a blessing! There were people who were very sad. I gave people hand massage is. And one room I walked into there was this big burly guy and I thought he would probably just laugh at me if I asked him if he wanted a hand massage. But he just smiled and said why not? And as I stood there, massaging his hand, his pain went away. He began to cry because he had been there for 2 weeks in the hospital and they didn't know what was wrong with him. He was going to be transferred. He missed his home. He missed his wife and kids. He told me how bad the nights were because he would hear beeping of different machines and he was so alone but was afraid to cry and bother others. I told him that more likely than not, the majority of the other people on the floor were also wide awake and feeling exactly the same way. I told him I understood because I had been there myself and shared my story.
I would recommend searching "shiatsu hand massage" on here. Then look at a reflexology chart. There are different points on the feet that correspond to a body organ. I cannot tell you how amazing shiatsu is for pain and even just relaxation. My dad was a total skeptic and when I gave him a hand massage he was so relaxed. I had patients who were in tears from their pain. 20 minutes of massage and they said the pain was significantly less or gone. I gave hand massages to the husbands of patients after I gave her a massage -- one of them fell asleep, lol. The family took photos of him asleep while I was massaging his hand 😆You can do the massage on yourself. You can also find those same points on the soles of your feet!
Comfy bed for two, warm fireplace with wood to the side, the dog, a dimmed glow for relaxing and the cold, windy weather outside where it belongs. Perfect for me and I love the vintage radio!

Интересный чайник такой) И чай в кровати, который наверное хорошо согревает когда снаружи полярный мороз) Прикольная собаченка) Вообще в целом очень удачное сочетание всего. Представляю как я тут ложусь спать) Вообще на основе вашего моделирования можно задуматься о постройке реального такого домика, выбрать из всех видео что наиболее по душе

I enjoy these warm cabin in the woods during a blizzard. I always try to find which cabin appears the nicest to stay the night in a winter blizzard. Any video with a cute, comfortable, loyal dog definitely gets ahead of the competition 🦮
