great informative vid as always Ben, I ordered the Cupra Formentor on 3rd sep 23 and estimate delivery feb 2024, apparently the formentor is the first 100% CUPRA DNA model and looks awesome to look at, cant wait to get this puppy!
Hey possible cousin! My Dad's last name was Pearson & his 1st name was Benjamin.😲What's cool is he was a Deputy Sheriff (Mama wouldn't allow me when I got old enough so unfortunately I didn't) all my Uncles.. Deputy Sheriffs, my Father in Law.. LEO(all RIP now), my Husband is a a 30+ yr LEO and one of our Sons is an LEO! Must have some blue blood running though our veins! I def subbed your channel & x page. Keep up the great videos!☺️
If Merseyside Police can unlock the ECU they could make lots of money. Airwave may be outdated but before that, I didn't have a hand held radio that reliably worked.
When I worked for West Midlands buses in Birmingham, our radio system used Band III (MPT1327). Excellent system, lovely audio quality, but it wouldn't be very good for police use as said audio was uncompressed unencrypted FM.
Excellent , role on the Cupra Leon no doubt the ST version. My car been a 16 plate is pre Cupra brand but they are brilliant cars mine been Seat Leon Cupra 270. Cupra are cheaper better value performance VW.
I think we can safely assume the car certainly isn't stock and is obviously customised for it new role/roles,, no doubt with a bit more poke than standard .Great video,, shame you can't go out and drive them, hint hint 😂
Have you fitted extra mirrors on top of the door mirrors?? I have ateca and tried to fit extra mirrors but clamp jams against the mirror glass. What type have you been able to fit ok??
Ben, I'm the guy who just saw u in BnM... apologies for just looking at u starstruck and whispering ur name 😂😂 i was gona come for a selfie but didnt want to harass u when u looked to be with ur young un.... have a good Xmas 👍🏻👍🏻
Imagine a country that buys foreign cars when they make Jaguars and the people that make them pay their wages ! It doesn’t happen in France but I guess they are more patriotic than us !
I have one of these myself, crazy machine one second it will do 175 mph then next its going through woods and rivers haha....These are not limited to 155 like most German cars. They are finished being built in Spain where they have the limiters removed.
They are absolutely restricted mate. Also, the car is German, though it's built in the Czech Republic. It's a VW T-Roc with a Golf-R engine and gearbox.
@@balafae2864 All German performance cars are electronically limited to 155 out the factory, it's commonly referred to as the Gentlemen's Agreement. Mainly for safety. You can have the limiter removed by having someone plug in to the ECU and altering the settings. I used to have a Leon Cupra, before they made Cupra it's own brand... Stage 1 with the limiter removed it was good for 178mph.
@@Jonesykinsmodular chassi is irelevant with VAG. It’s nothing like a T-Roc in its final form and the vehicles can drive very differently. I have compared an A3, Golf and Leon with the Audi and VW having the same 1.6TDI, the cars were nothing alike. Of course this gen there are more similarities but the cars are set up very differently.
Some prescription and over-the-counter medications can leave alcohol in the system. Not a huge amount, but enough to register. Also when is the rest of the UK going to adopt the lower 22 μg/100 ml alcohol in breath limit that we have in Scotland..?
Probably a Friday afternoon car, all manufacturers have them. I had a Peugeot 307 that was excellent for the most part, not a hint of rust on the bodywork even after 8 years, but the engine was shit. It finally died when the oil pump literally went bang the day before I was due to move house 🤬
@@Sg-bi5tw Heh..! Not to worry, I'm sure we'll get one in at some time or another..! We've been first on Patreon a few times though, Ben doesn't seem to get many comments there, don't know why 😿
Keep the police car reviews coming love it mate! Lol
Some decent motors in Merseyside, they aren’t messing about!👌
Yeah I live up by Liverpool couldn’t agree more lad have you seen their seat Leon cupra estate used by matrix?

There is not a chance that any Cupra Ateca leaves the factory capable of doing 175 mph.
massive spelling mistake on the thumbnail ben!!

When people see matrix they move
👍
It can fit a couple of cons in the back!!
What’s the point of the drink drive limit? Surely if you’ve drank and driven you should be charged regardless
its possible to have alcohol in the system without drinking
