I actually like this Frankie so much better and it feels like they’re slowly making their way to a better and darker style for the dolls and I’m here for it. I also love the backpack so much more on this one.
Anyways these core refresh dolls is definitely an upgrade to the first core dolls. Mattel should have started with these set, it seems more in tune with current fashion trends. I’m a big Frankenstein fan in general so I’m definitely gonna get her.
Is it just me or refresh has a longer neck,,? I love the previous outfit too, but the doll itself, I like refresh more, previous neck almost looks nonexistent??
Sad thing is, a mismatched aesthetic would probably really work for a Frankenstein, but G3 Frankie is more of a robot. That is to me an irredeemable part of this generation, erasing most of the classic monsters.
I love Frankie the most among Monster High children. I'm happy because Frankie unboxing. 😊❤❤❤ However, G3 Frankie is honestly not my style. G3 Frankie is becoming a monster. I don't feel humanity. It's cool. I think I loved Frankie more before. However, I want to keep an eye on her.
Honestly tired of seeing the same hideous cmyk color scheme overly used in every Frankie doll. It really destroys any aesthetic or theme they try to put on the doll. It would be so much nicer if they stick to a blue, black and white and maybe some hints of different colors now and then.

Target still has them, not many - walmart doesnt anymore here and there was no reason given by the rep I spoke with 🫠
