Yep. Also reminds us how Caro and Ridge's relationship had real depth to it when they cod finally get back together. The flashbacks to Ridge and Taylor also show how much more substance (than just bed scenes) Taylor and Ridge had as a couple. I may find Ridge a waste of time as a husband but he def had more of a carefree and adult relationship with Taylor
To me, Caroline was Ridge's true love because she was the only one he couldn't decide to let go, even when letting her go would have been the convenient choice.
One of my favorite times at B&B, I remember its original run in TV and have very fond memories. Hunter continues to deliver an incredible performance and she'll do that again when Steffy's going to be missing. Still amazes me how unbelievably gorgeous she is, just the way I remember. At this point in the show her character is so strong, with good stories, she's one of the leading ladies, especially compared to KKL story with Thorne. Funny thing, but it wasn't until the rewatch that I noticed that even a shot of Hunter in the opening is ahead of KKL's one and it actually has been that way for a few years. The Tridge couple is also in a strong place, they lasted from '97 to '02 and the fact that they even brought Caroline from the afterlife to emphasize how strong their love is (forgetting about her dying wish) makes you want to believe that Taylor is truly the love of Ridge's life. I hope these reruns are watched especially by new viewers, because the way Taylor's character got treated after her second return is just awful. Watching even the newest plots with Kirsta Allen (first months with Krista's version of Taylor were imo very similar to the best years of HT's portrayal, it was like Taylor was finally stable and likeable again) new viewers may walk away with the idea that Taylor was just some crazy ex in Ridge's past, always his second choice, always obsessed with him, and he was only with her because of the kids and actually always wanted to be with Brooke. Well, refer viewers here because there is no better way to dispel these myths than watch these episodes. Greetings to the entire B&B fan community!
@@scor66 Having not have watched in the beginning I went back and watched the old episodes and agree Caroline was the love of his life and he later found true love again with Taylor!
@@annieo6527😂 it is always a projection when people talk to their beloved departed and also shows that he knows Caroline would have approved someone like Taylor for him. The last Caroline dying wish( Brooke and Ridge together) has been erased by Ridge's belief that Taylor, after Caroline, was and still is the one.
I find it interesting with Taylor as well as Steffy, that they were told over the years you didn't have to marry the father of your child to be a family. But with Morgan, brooke, and Hope, they never told them that. The start of the decimation of Taylor
Going back to that episode, I got so teary-eyed the moment Caroline appeared. I may have not watched her back in the late 80's-early 90's, but she was a true sweetheart.
It just occurred to me that if Brooke ever kicked the bucket (and with Taylor dying frequently), Ridge could have his own version of a Christmas Carol with the ghosts of his three wives.
Loved Caroline to the best loves of ridges life was her and Taylor to me it would have been interesting to see how things had played out had she stayed longer her Taylor Stephanie macy sally darla are some of the best written female characters

I don't understand how Ridge could be messed up with Brookerella again after fighting So Hard to keep his marriage intact with Taylor. I DON'T CARE what the Brooke Cult Worshippers have to say but Ridge and Taylor BELONG TOGETHER Well Caroline mostly but since she passed away it's TAYLOR he belongs with
That was funny - Caroline's spirit telling Ridge "Taylor knew what she is getting into" 😂 yes, she knew and did it regardless - believing that she could change him or he would change for her & the children. Which is a sign of co-dependency... And as to Ridge - ffs 🙈 Morgan didn't rape him, did she? I don't like her, but at the end of the day he as an adult should have known better and has absolutely no excuse for having had sex with her 😐
@ambika66681 ?? How is Brooke even related to Morgan's storyline? Plus let's be honest here - how many times could Brooke have a relationship without some serious opposition?? None. I do not approve of her behaviour when it comes to romantic partners, but I do understand it. If I had to fight against so many people in order to have a romantic relationship or marry - I would be way more bitter and even slightly aggressive
And Rick and Amber both think their lives are perfect except for that tiny detail of losing Little Eric. If that were my child, it would be _all_ I could think about. I would not think of the situation as "almost perfect".
Looking back at those scened with Morgan, how she requires Ridge to help her with a baby, like he is obligated to help her...disgusting, how does she have the nerve
The flashback to Caroline’s “bulbs and seeds” speech just reminds us how much better (and better written) the older seasons were.

I wonder who wrote that particular scene.
Bill’s mentor Irna Phillips described him as “terrible” at writing dialogue… but Bill kept improving….

By this time, the writers used less eloquent speech and more average talking. It’s annoying to listen to honestly

When Ridge & Taylor Got Married Back In The Year Of 1992 32 Years Ago
Only Ridge can see a _literal_ ghost and keep his Ridge face! 😐
