Kinda reminds me of streetracing back in 2000-2005.... accept it wasn't at a track, we just took over parkinglots and streets, got stuck regularly just waiting for others to move along. Was a lot of fun. Sometimes the Cops would run us out, but it was very rare and I still have no idea why they didn't break us up more often. The best part was when they were building a new highway and we'd use the unopened highway to race- it had this perfect onramp parking area and a perfect mile long stretch that was as flat and straight as you can get- perfect for racing. Seems weird that 2000 was a 'long time ago'
We also had a few places where would time trial one car after another and compare our times. I never had a very fast car but I whooped all the others with similar power and beat out a lot of folks with respectably more power- drag racing is fun but I enjoy blasting down a curvy road way more, tossing myself from side to side. Looks like this was a fun Thursday ;P
