I love Watergate Bay and we always eat at The Beach Hut when we go. Living in Cornwall you end up taking the beauty for granted so it’s lovely to be reminded how lucky we are to live here and see it from an outsiders view. I lived in South London and moved to Cornwall 16 years ago. I always feel torn between the two places as I love both places for different reasons.

Nadia you are so right, I was an adrenaline junkie before the menopause and now I have panic attacks and anxiety. Used to love going on the really big rides at Alton Towers, can't do that anymore, went to Go Ape and had a panic attack up a tree and now I can't do heights which never bothered me pre menopause!!!!! Xx

Mark, I understand the overheating.I get it all the time.It just comes out of nowhere and my face goes bright red then white.. My husband alway's goes and get's my food from the buffet for me.It's usually a roast dinner and he knows what to get me so its nice of him. x
I had dinner at the beach hut about ten years ago, I have friends that have apartments nearby, opposite whipsiderry bay, Newquay . It’s soo lovely there. Xx
I did the 3 peakes challenge and poles were worth their weight in gold. Remember to take the caps off of the ends though as many forget! I had a karrimor set, not expensive and no issues at all. Fully adjustable. We have loads of bluebell woods around where I live, just beautiful x
@@sawalhaadderleys I had the best time ever! It was boiling hot but we had to carry all of our wet weather gear incase it rained! An amazing experience I would do again in a heartbeat :-) You'll be amazing....go and enjoy every minute xx
Nadia, I climbed kilimanjaro last year in a snow storm and coming down, my knees were in so much pain ( i have always suffered with them) and i was going side on to avoid the pressure almost with each step (it was slippery, loose rocks so you were half sliding with each step, jarring the knees) i found deep heat helped each night and compression around knees, also glute training to prevent knees giving out in first place is such a good plan. Poles: get them measured in a hiking shop and use if you need - i found they got in the way going down as it slowed me down too much and i just wanted to get down but other people relied on them going up/down when they were experiencing the lack of oxygen as supports for when legs were gone. For me the headache was sooooo bad during the final 100 meters at the top, it came on so suddenly when i (i felt so weak and out of breath but at least i was able to move, it affects everyone differently and a guy in my group- his eyes were bulging, he couldn't string a sentence together and was wobbling, unable to walk)! The final ascent, each step was so tough i was breathing so heavily to cope with no oxygen, thank god we began hiking the final bit at midnight and i got the summit at 7am, so emotional! i kept snacking on energy bars to keep going and drink lots of water (as much as you can carry) :) and singing and moral boosting is key!!!!!!! you can do this!!!!

Nadia I have Osteoarthritis in my left knee and have found that walking poles / trekking poles are fantastic. Check out the brand Leki they also have padded grips for long hikes but go to the right shop to get advice on the height they should be and the technique used when walking (it's easy once you find the rhythm). They are not the cheapest but will serve you well also RUclips has good tutorials until you get to the specialist shop!
Bluebells are just gorgeous, I go to my local woods in East Sussex and there’s a carpet of them at the moment, so beautiful. Oh Nadia I feel your anxiety when it comes to heights 😩.

God!!!..we never had sticks or a sherpa..are you having a sherpa with you ?..my brother strode off miles ahead on one day ..me and my mum felt we were lost in this thick spooky mist that suddenly appeared!!..mum kept saying ..I do not like this vibe it' s wierd!!....she was furious at my brother for flippen stalking off miles ahead just coz he was fitter than us!!...I had only been guzzling 50pence cans of white cider from sydenham every bleeding day a week before ...dont know how I managed it !!...I did though and it did me the world of good!!...you can do it Nads for sure!!!xxx
Buy a brace for your Knee Nadia just to wear around the house just to rest your knee..Also try wearing weights around your ankles to help strengthen them..A lady wears them on a trail I walk and cycle on...Its going to be positive mental attitude for you doing the himilayas because its totally out of your comfort zone.. The hardest part is accepting the challenge...I have total faith in you..yes it will be hard but think of how fit you will be at the very end...you go girl.. :)

If you have a sat nav you can usually use it on walk mode so u don't get lost
Nadia I wanted to ask you how your experience on Ben Nevis was as I will be hopefully trekking it soon. Any advice would be appreciated. Also, I was going to comment in previous vlog about how Marks idea of trekking in different places and then checking in to the accomodation nearby is a good idea and it would be great if you film your training. I have a suggestion, Nadia you could interview Mark about his experience of trekking and Mark can interview you about your Ben Nevis trekking experience. Thanks 😁 X

Wow!I thought the previous hotel was amazing.This one is gorgeous ,and if I could lie flat in it ,I`d never be leaving that bath!!*sigh*More yummy food ,lots of wonderful views ,and you guys! Absolute proof that two intelligent ,funny and adventurous (did I say entertaining?:) ,people can keep you transfixed for hours.Thanks guys for allowing us to come along on this holiday with you.Am absolutely loving it all.Xx

I love these Cornwall vlogs it’s so beautiful, I wanna be there, the views are stunning. I’ve fallen in love with Steve the seagull, he was the cutest seagull ever, I hope you gave him some snacks. That bit on the beach about the rock and litter 🤣 Maybe Nadia needs to get a personal trainer to get in shape for the mountain trekking.

Mark a great idea for GFH...how about a wellness area you’ve got the room now and you could ask Greg to put his wizard magic on it lol seriously you could have an area maybe as a zen garden and Nadia could do her yoga in it, like a secret area and buddhas and all that and maybe a water feature that would be amazing 👍

What a great vlog. Laughed out loud when Markkkkk said he was going to pee🤣on the rocks. I am clearly missing out on life because I have NEVER bed dived🤣thank you for sharing the fun you have. Nadia you both keep missing the girls but I laughed so much at the beginning of the week on your Instagram page when you were posting the photographs of you and mark in the outside spa and Maddie was shouting in full capitals WHATS WITH THE TOPLESS PHOTOS and you said I have a swimsuit on 🤣🤣🤣🤣 we mums can never have some fun can we? Nadia you will be amazing on the Himalayas, if you survived the hell that was Bjg brother, you will smash this 👍 you two we miss our two girls being younger all the time, both grown up now and one lives in New Zealand, but fabulous memories embroidered on our own personal tapestry of life. Love Cornwall too and we all love you guys your pretty fantastic, think of you as friends, I was even talking about you at our garden centre with hubby other day saying that arbour would look great in Nadia and Marks garden.....caught myself and said hark at me it’s like they’re are personal friends haha 👍💕xx

God!!!..we never had sticks or a sherpa..are you having a sherpa with you ?..my brother strode off miles ahead on one day ..me and my mum felt we were lost in this thick spooky mist that suddenly appeared!!..mum kept saying ..I do not like this vibe it' s wierd!!....she was furious at my brother for flippen stalking off miles ahead just coz he was fitter than us!!...I had only been guzzling 50pence cans of white cider from sydenham every bleeding day a week before ...dont know how I managed it !!...I did though and it did me the world of good!!...you can do it Nads for sure!!!xxx

Buy a brace for your Knee Nadia just to wear around the house just to rest your knee..Also try wearing weights around your ankles to help strengthen them..A lady wears them on a trail I walk and cycle on...Its going to be positive mental attitude for you doing the himilayas because its totally out of your comfort zone.. The hardest part is accepting the challenge...I have total faith in you..yes it will be hard but think of how fit you will be at the very end...you go girl.. :)
