I did not know about that app! I rock text-generation-webui but your app looks really convenient compared to that. This is complete wrong place to ask, but, could code formatting be something you would consider implementing, maybe as a plugin? I will still try your app, but if code formatting were a thing, and ability to run ANY downloaded safetensor model (maybe there already is), there would be no question of what app I would be using. :) Thanks for your FOSS contribution! ❤ Edit, after some digging on your github, there seems to be MD support.. maybe.. I'll just download the app and try.. Thanks again!
Thats awesome to see, I started using a mod organizer 2 for Skyrim so I can play together reborn with a friend but a native client would be better, nexusmods is developing a whole new mod manager and it supports Linux both native and proton/wine games also github.com/Nexus-Mods/NexusMods.App
the amount of applications available on Linux really made me fall in love with the OS, I really could never go back to Windows, it would just be a downgrade
One of the first things I did when moving to Linux was look into music players. I probably wasted decades only using Windows Media Player before upgrading to VLC on Windows which isn't the best way to browse your music library since you're still doing that through a file explorer and not an in app library. I ended up settling on Strawberry and now I can't view my Linux experience without it. Being able to easily direct which folder for it to scan for music and then populating a media library in app easily got me buying more digital music to increase my library. One app I discovered after hanging out in the PikaOS discord that I also now love is the XIV Launcher off of flathub for playing Final Fantasy 14 since I'm now giving WoW a rest and playing catch up in FF14. Was using Lutris to run it until they mentioned how much better they liked the stand alone flatpak version so I gave it a go and like it.
How do you make Strawberry to add subfolders? I have a lot of nested subfolders with one or two songs and I have to navigate to the last subfolder in a tree and add songs one by one, I can't add a folder containing subfolders to the library. (I hope I explained it properly, English is not my first language)
i just go on flathubs website as they have categories for a trending page + new apps, gui software like discover should implement these pages instead of showing editors choice or highest rated games lol, then users could find these apps more easily
I'm a relatively new linux user and I find that these applications make my life easier. They are as follows: - Planify (some kind of ToDo app) - Switcheroo (a simple app to convert, modify, scale images easly) - Metadata Cleaner (to clean all thoese dirty metadata on images) - HydraPaper (if you managed multiple monitors) - Flatseal (to manage all those flatpaks permissions)
Switching to Linux right now is giving me similar feelings to late 90s for me when I'd discover new software for windows, because it was all very new to me. Windows has been really stale for almost 2 decades now though.
What distro are you using? Also Wayland or X11? I have a 2070 on my laptop and it runs smoothly but when I connect an HDMI on my 144Hz display, it just feels so slow and sluggish and laggy. Don't get me wrong, its fast, but I see the tearing and just an overall slow experience while using a 2nd screen. When I just use my laptop screen, its seemless. Any idea why?
Laptops can be a mess on Linux especially nvidia under Wayland depending on how the laptops internals are setup, nvidia has said recently they are working on improving Wayland support in their laptops, so try and use x11 if you can for now until nvidia improves it If you go to 8:23:50 ruclips.net/user/livepDsksRBLXPk?si=JBN5XzEyemOFdDSs You can watch a talk from nvidia's Linux Devs talking about their issues they are having and what they're going to improve for Wayland The next driver release is going to be improving more problems with Wayland And yes I'm using endeavour os as my main for a while now and pikaos currently, both running KDE plasma
@@linuxnext thank you for your reply. Been watching your videos for a while and it has been knowledgeable! 💯 i currently run just Arch with KDE. Would you recommend i switch to endeavour OS as a whole?
isn't there something to control the controller like steam input but for other game launcher like lutris, bottles and heroic launcher i can't play arkham city with my dualsense on heroic launcher because of it
That's odd that your ds controller isn't working as Sony supports the drivers for every ds controller in the kernel What I would do is test other games on heroic and see if your controller gets picked up, if that's the case then it's probably an issue with batman Arkham City running under proton/wine through heroic I'd also use ge-proton for best compatibility I recently played Arkham asylum, city all through the campaign with my sn30 pro plus under steam without issues so I wish I could test it for you but I can't sadly So I would report this to either heroic games github first and when you launch the game click on report a problem running this game in heroics game menu for batman Arkham City and copy the log and add it to your report github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/HeroicGamesLauncher
@debnadaebna9981 yep exact same, same thing on android or android tv also I use just the Flatpak package and have no issues, hardware decoding also works properly under Flatpak
Your mustache is cool! If you earn money on RUclips, I hope you first get a green or blue screen, then if you actually earn more than pocket change I hope you get a new camera 😊
I'm getting a new camera at Christmas time(OBSbot meet 2) and I have a black, blue and green screen already but it's jank where you have to use clips to attach it to the polls and my bed is so close with the green screen that I have no room to freely move around I would want to get one that rolls in and out of a base like what Elgato sells I think or something more affordable But yes i do earn money off these videos :) i dont make much and i pay my editor which isnt much either, so its gonna take a while for me to get this products that i want or need
its going great, waiting for debian to update to plasma 6.2.2 so i can play games without a cursor bug lol, i think most packages are on 6.2.2 now so ill check in later to see if it is on that version, no other issues tho :)
Im gonna step one more step further and say most apps inuse are foss terminal apps i love them id pay for them they are great theres literally no ither apps anywhere that have sane ux and ui on same level on that
About Mission Center... I like that it provides a lot of information, but when you try to scale it too small the menu on the left disappears, making it difficult to use
i dont think its that hard to use when you shrink it, there is a button to bring up the side bar again when its scaled down so not a big issue for me but yeah i can understand why it might be annoying for others
How drab, and boringly consistent and minimalist *everything* looks to the point of me being unable to discern one app from another at a glance. How utterly miserable and dull.
@@linuxnext it's impossible to satisfy everybody. i very much prefer a unified look than every app having it's own look and design because it's messy to look at
