- Sorry for my long absence, this video is absolutely overdue. It's unfair that the full story wasn't given earlier, so here's my best explanation.

I remember playing this game daily with my friend like 3 years ago... It's sad to see this game being dead.. Well, all games die at somepoint, some of them last longer, and some of them less longer. I never really was excited for the revamp, still sad to se it being cancelled.
Well, hopefully, one day they'll start working on it again even though its really less likely to happen

I discovered rBreach in September 2020, when I had just become a fan of SCP
It has become one of the games I play most and helps me in bad times during the pandemic and post-pandemic
I had a lot of hype for Revamp and followed any update almost every day
I hope Revamp can be revived one day
me too man. Discovering rbreach got me into scp as well and made my vocabulary very good for my age. I remember feeling a bit sad whenever I'd have to go on holidays because I thought the revamp would come out

I still remember the revamp being announced years ago. It's interesting to know what could've been. But anyways, great video detailing everything about it.
As a roblox dev that once tried to make a round-based SCP game inspired heavily by ancient's work, I say that working on such ambitious projects require a strong will and cooperation with a team;
Strong will because you actually have to LOVE what you're creating and having the best expectations, but the knowledge that there is still a chance not only that it will die at some point, but that it will never grow as a game. Yeah, I know that rBreach had a sufficient community to keep the game up and allow it to catch greater playerbases, but at the end of the day, you'll always see effortless simulator games that get massive amounts of income just by being cartoony as hell and having things such as "skibidi toilet" or "digital circus" in their name.
Cooperation with a team because of course, such big project must be done slowly and without rushing anything. From the scripter's side, you got to make sure that your script is UNBREAKABLE and heavily customizable for an easier addition of content. From the builder's side, you must make your builds optimized and final. I am a builder and sometimes I imagine the amount of work that I have to do and I tell to myself "WHOA, is this really worth my time?". But I carry on, because I still love to build. To make a big project, you have to learn to love it and have faith that your work will pay off someday. Sadly, this didn't happen to the rBreach Revamp development, along with other important problematics. I hope we can see more of Ancient and his team in a future, and this time it'll be with a banger game like how the original rBreach used to be.
According to what Xercos told me before deleting the server. When asked on one of the reasons of Revamp being cancelled he replied with, "Roblox Studio updates always breaking the game and making scripts inefficient causing Ancient and other developers to keep fixing the game and codes that eventually break again on another update". rBreach Revamp went through development hell, I'm glad it can finally be put to rest.
I remember having a few conversations with Ancient years ago, but I barely remember what they were about, and I can't find his account in my DMs anymore. Likely because his account is deleted, or because I left the server well before it was deleted. I do recall talking about programming sometimes with him, I may have helped him with a few things, but it's hard to remember. Back when I first joined his server like 5 or 6 years ago, I was a very arrogant person, and I remember asserting my programming knowledge on people there, and insulting Ancient's code. I even made my own SCP SL-type game back then too, just to rub it in that I thought his game was poorly made. So I have no clue why he ever talked to me back then, I was also banned from the discord server a few times because I was a stupid teenager. I think the last conversation I ever had with him was almost 3 years ago when I started college for myself. I can't prove it of course, since I can't find the messages anywhere in my direct message logs anymore.
As someone who was a member of the server and community of rBreach, I admit at first I was hyped for the revamp when it was announced back in 2019, but as time went on, I stopped being hyped and thinking it will never be made, specially with the shit that happened with Axel, Xercos and Ancient's disappearance. I would say I stopped caring about it like in 2021-2022.
I do hope Ancient is doing good wherever he is. And I still gotta thank the community for letting me meet some nice people and make friends.

First time I played rBreach in 2020, was addicted to it, I heard about the revamp first time when I got discord and it was still alive
it became my main inspiration for my old builds (second was FL), and it is was a base of what my builds are today, started crappy, improved over time, and hyped at the same time, but unfortunately at 2022 it died.

Ancient was really talented and he defined the scp round base genre back with classic rbreach i sunk hundreds and hundreds of hours into it there was nothing else like it
And I'd wish if classic rbreach was kept in it's original state instead of the unbalanced mess it is now (Fuck xercos)
This video showed me what could have been and honestly it doesn't look that bad thank you for showing us this so we atleast can let the game rest knowing what it was
I hope ancient has a bright future ahead of him, He deserves it for how much rbreach has made me and others happy

College, Demotivation and Drama really struck the rBreach community and brought the development to it's knee's to perish, it is a real shame, although... Development may be gone, the game still lives on.

My opinion was back then, and now pretty much confirmed, that ancient ended it all because he couldn't deal with the issues in his life. I doubt the reason was rbreach, but the pressure on that side was probably a reason too.
I might be wrong. He still could be out there but I doubt it.

it's such a shame that ancient himself suffered lots of things, I've heard that he got seasonal depression as well from his former developer
while bad stuff happened, i also still enjoyed some of good moments, the good times in the rbreach community, sadly it's no longer the same community that I used to love
I met so many great people in that community, made many new friends and such, it was really fun while it lasted in the end
based off my experiences with ancient, lord yeah he was really a good guy, a good owner, unfortunately it's an adult person that has many many problems in real life like the video said so, money issues, relationships issues, left the college due to covid and things becoming more expensive for him and so more on, because everything that happened to him, he went quiet and pretty much ignoring everything, I feel really bad for him, I hope that he is in a better place now

This is Gato Guy (some of you guys might know me from the meme heaven server). This game was the most fun I had back then, when I had a potato pc and no paid games. It was the first community that I was active in and met many chill people online, I also became friends with someone who was a big part of the community and played a lot of terraria with him. Thing is, I'm going to miss those times we had. Thank you ancient, and thank you to everyone who was involved in the rbreach community.

I have never played roblox, and this is the second time ever I've ever seen the name Rbreach- however, I find it really similar to an SCP game I do play- SCP: Secret laboratory, its not a roblox game, but its free on steam- I'd recommend it to anyone who does like Round-Based SCP games.
I've never played Rbreach so I can't really tell you if its similar or not, but from the description I've seen so far it seems pretty similar.
I advise you check it out!
rbreach was one of the first SCP game i played and it was awesome, the gameplay was inovative in some way and generally fun until the lag started pilling up and then the drama.

I looked up to this game. I thought the developers were amazing. When development slowed, I thought the developers were lazy, and hated them for it. Thank you, now I know it's none of their fault. Maybe one day I could possibly make a game similar to this, niche teams and lots of weapons seem to work.
I know that the video arrived very late because I barely realized that this channel uploaded that video explaining everything about rbreach and the truth is that it is sad to see it as a project that we were all waiting for and to see many images as they were, because yes, I still think that the video would be lost. essence of the current rbreach but it is very sad to see how they canceled possibly one of the best scp games in roblox and if you read me what do you think about SnipaBoy45, Xercos already knew that but wow what about Snipa, I didn't expect that to be honest

i got back into this game, and im sad to see how the game is empty now. there are still max servers that i play on, but its hard to move onto a new game because of the charm and uniqueness of the game. the remake will probably never be made, but i am hoping there is still gonna be like a fan remake with the same roles and guns.

Well, hopefully, one day development will be start again, however i dont think this is going to happen. Atleast they could've put other people in the lead of the game and it would've still been kinda better

Firstly and honestly, I can not believe Rere is still alive, I haven't heard from him in almost 3 years. Though I really do appreciate him explaining his side of rBreach's story, as I feel like it's good to hear it from a former influential member and former mod. But anyways, it sucks to see rBreach came to an abrupt end, it was a big part of my childhood. (Not really a good thing honestly because it rotted my brain beyond repair, but whatever) And, rBreach was a big inspration to many SCP games and artists. Though, all good things must come to an end, maybe its deletion was for the better.
i dont know what current state the remap is in or if it will be finished at all. r breach could come back for 1 of 2 reasons: 1 anceint returns or 2: someone attemps to remake it which is very unlikely (i do alot of typos on pc) i want to remake r breach but i suck with lua and terrible at building...

A day where I get to witness a day like this,
rBreach was the game that introduced me to the SCP Universe itself, gotta say it was worth it and basically has become my "little passion" being in the SCP Universe. The game was good in all and it even got me to do some stuff (eg. AI Making, Game Making, Experimenting) also the little factions they have there too!

i have never seen a game as terrible as rbreach, and that is what made it amazing
2019 was such an amazing time, there was a large playerbase and an overall pretty good following
slowly from 2019 to now the player count went down but i thought nothing of it for the first years... but something started to seem wrong and now there is often only 1 server that isnt even filled most of the time

iirc, you should ALL not lose hope. apaprently it has been stated a new project (i ahve forgotten its name) is based mainly on the latest data from rbreach, so they're revamping a revamp
UPDATE: project name is "SCP: Submerged," apparently the head dev was also one of the main devs on rbreach, so hope should DEFIENTLY be taken back. considering if its the main dev, we'll be seeing the same things we saw in the leaks, hopefully the dev still has access to the game.

forgot to respond, we're not really close to completion quite yet, we're having the zones be built and many of our necessary functions such as interactions, weapons, round handling and so on and so forth and yes we're a revival of the rbreach revamp and while we are striving for an accurate recreation we will take our own creative liberties on things that arent quite known
