I've always been intrigued by this game as it was the inspiration for Resident Evil. Nice run!

It's not the inspiration, but rather the "original". Capcom lost the license for Sweet Home while developing Sweet Home 2 was in development so they just do some asset swap and call it Biohazard, or Resident Evil in the English version for some reason.
