The actress doesn’t have the mouth muscle ability to hold that droop anymore. So she had to switch sides. It’s not a big deal and added to the charm of the film.

there is a scene where Winnie slaps Mary in HP2 and moves her mouth to the other side. unfortunately the director/producers on HP2 were so shite they didn't bother to put any emphasis on this and unless you watch the movie with a magnifying glass you completely miss what cold have been a fun, dramatic, OTT scene. literally so dissapointing.
