Bhai jaan, I've been watching your videos for very long from my good old USA - Used to own multiple Enfield motorcycles while in Mumbai in the 80's, well now I ride a Harley and a Honda 6-cyl Goldwing 🙂 but I enjoy the desi jugaad still being applied on the old "Bullet" motorcycles. While in India recently, I did ride a interceptor 650 but felt a bit flimsy on Mumbai roads. Please keep the videos coming, they give me a great pleasure to watch you, your boys and the ripped open motorcycles when I watch on a 180" projector screen, although my viewing these videos drives my family crazy thinking what is this man watching and what those motorcycles are🙂

Thanks for making such an informative video. Usually the rpm shoots to 2000 rpm in cold engine start during morning. It comes down to around 1500 rpm after idling for 2 minute. However, for the past one one month, I am observing that the rpm is shooting just a tad above 1500 rpm during cold engine start during morning, and today suddenly the dreaded check engine light has started to glow. I don't know which sensor is malfunctioning. I do have a OBDII scanner but it is meant for car.

I also had a similar issue with my interceptor. Abs light was not working first then also started to show engine light then the abs light started to show continuously. Dealership changed the speedometer but the issue was still there after several visits they just created a new excuse. They just cleared the speedometer error code and I experienced the issue again while returning home from the dealership but then eventually the ABS light started working properly. They said everything is working fine now but I am still skeptical if the ABS is working or not as the tyres skid when I brake hard.
How is your overall experience with this bike as I am intended to buy this interceptor 650 new alloy wheels model. Please share your experience 🙏
@@emperorofdarkness3096 I have been using an interceptor since 2020. I have done around 37000 km on it and use it as a daily driver. The bike has some ergonomics issues but the engine is a beauty. The new one has been improved in many aspects like alloy wheels, USD forks, better switch gear etc. and has become even more VFM. I would suggest to go ahead and get one. All the best for future rides.
@@emperorofdarkness3096 Hi its been just one year since I purchased my bike yeah it has some ergonomic issues but still the is a bliss to ride. There are things improved in the new version but if you want to go for the retro feel and better looks then you can get the spokes wheels variant but if you prefer more features and can compromise with the looks then you can go for the newer version as the old one is still available but for me the upgrades don't make much of a sense as they have hugely downgraded the looks like the alloy design is just horrible they could choose a better design for alloys and I don't personally like the new colors and complete blackout of the engine and exhaust but again its a personal choice.
Overall its a fantastic machine you can own if you don't get any technical issues because Royal Enfield technicians are just total noobs they don't have any knowledge of the 650 segment. Apart from all the odds you can still blindly go for it.

I want to change the place of rr unit in int 650. Co. have placed it in such a odd position where it cant get any airflow cooling. I have changed rr unit for the second time.Can we do it by making a wireharness for it? If it's possible can u pls make a video on it.

Bro I've been experiencing pickup issues with my Continental GT 650, purchased on October 31, 2023. Despite its recent 2nd service, the bike struggles to exceed speeds of 100-120 km/h. The RPMs are going up, but the bike fails to accelerate.do you know the reason

My interceptor had this engine check light
Royal Enfield mechanic diagnosed side stand sensor malfunction
Placed order, got call after more than 10 days.
Side stand sensor changed but engine check light was still there.
now a new thing came that both needles from both digital meters got stuck in between. they now diagnosed that meter has got short damage and i need to replace it woth new meter first before any further investigations.
still same error shown
now after 2-3 hrs they got a tip from RE engineers to check for gear position sensor. they had one sensor available but they struggled to replace that sensor for next 1 hour.
they replaced it but now neutral light is coming at 4th gear.
I asked for chain tightening and now a new problem started that i am getting neutral position after every gear.
apart from this when i was busy on call they disconnected hazard system and GPS wiring.
but to my surprise they didnt knew hiw to fully disconnect these wirings or how to reconnect again. So I asked them to just pack the whole thing just to try some local mechanic.
to my surprise Local mechanic reconnected the hazard system and diagnosed that hazard switch is damaged and main head light functining was restored with in 10 mins.
still gear problem is there should i revisit Royal enfield workshop again？
